Course Curriculum Overview

4

we have 8 semesters in 4 years. Every semester has 2 internal exams and 1 main exam. To write the main exam we need to pass both the internal exams. The curriculum is well-planned and correct way of order. it helps to improve our knowledge year by year. exam is very difficult most times. there is 3 parts in the question paper. For every part, we have 6 questions. out of 6, we need to answer 4 questions

Fees and Financial Aid

Talking about the fee. every semester we need to pay 9000rs. so 1 year 18000rs. but I need to pay only 6000rs per semester. Because I have an E-Grantz Scholarship. There are a lot of campus placement opportunities in my college. For mechanical engineers MRF, Reliance, Infosys, wipro, tcs, saint-Gobin, etc. companies are recruiting. avg 4LPA are they offering in starting

Campus Life

5

College life is very beautiful. Students and teachers are very friendly. there are a lot of facilities for our extracurricular activities. there are labs and workshops for our technological visions. we conduct sports and arts events for skilled students in their fields. The college has teams in every sport. We have our college fest named DYUTHI usually conducted in October or November month. A lot of cultural and technical competitions& workshops will be conducted. Also, we have a very huge library for references and education.

Hostel Facilities

5

The hostel is very memorable. We have 4 blocks of buildings. One room is a lot for 2 students. The rooms are very big and have enough space in them. and also clean and secure. Mess food is very attractive and good quality. every week 2 days chicken, 1 day fish, and 2 days egg. 1-day sadhya also. taste is superb. other than special items we get enough quantity.

Admission

It is very difficult to get admission in my college. Because it is one of the best colleges in Kerala. To get admission we need to crack the KEAM exam. Also, we need to score a rank under 3000 to get admission in good colleges like us. After the rank list we need to apply for colleges for our seat in the portal. after the first allotment, we understood where we got the admission. In the second allotment, it may change. After the second allotment, we need to take admission in the respective college. If we don't get our focused college then we need to wait for the third allotment.

Faculty

4.5

There are 60+ students in One class. The class is very big and comfortable to take class. the faculties are very supportive and talented. they explain every topic in detail, so we can learn that topic very easily. They also support our projects, paper presentations, and other activities.

Other Applied Colleges

College of Engineering | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Mechanical Engineering)

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.
