Course Curriculum Overview
In ECE, we can get placements in both computer science as well as core electronics companies. More varied option or opportunity of jobs is there in this curriculum. The curriculum prepares us well for real-world applications and further academic pursuits. Exam papers are moderate and exams are held for 3 hours
Internships Opportunities
College provides internship in the college research lab and other companies. Internships are provided from 3rd year. But college encourages students to search for internships on their own and work on them
Placement Experience
From 6th semester students become eligible for placements. Oracle, infosys, IBM, TCS companies like this come to the college for recruitment. Highest package is above 40LPA. Almost 90% students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fees is nearly 705 lakhs for 4 years, 1,10 Lakhs during admission and 85k per semestet from the second semesters. Kanyashree scholarship is available for girls, loans can also be taken if students cannot afford the fees
Campus Life
There are clubs formed in the 1st year like dance club, singing club, drama club, recitation club. College organises various technical and cultural events and encourages students to take part in them.
Admission
There is an entrance test called iemjee through which students can get admission into iem and uem both. Students can also get admission through west bengal joint entrance counseling. You can find application form for iemjee on their website in chrome
Faculty
There are almost 40+ professors for teaching 1500 students. The faculty comes within time in class and teaches each topic very minutely with utmost care. They are helpful and help the students with academic as well as non academic issues.
Interview Experience
No no sort of Group discussion or interview was done for admission. The admission is done on the basis of rank in the entrance exam ( iemjee ) or WBJEE. There will be exam one day and counseling another day. You can get admitted on the day of counseling
