Our college is situated in an expansive 85 acres campus, providing more space and numerous areas to explore.
Our college provide one of the best placement offers compared to other institutions with 710+ offers, 75+ companies with a highest offer of 32 LPA
Our college B tech courses in 7 departments and also offering M Tech courses in each department. Architecture and MCA courses are also provided

Dislikes

Our College have frequent political issues
Tech fests and Art fests in terms of quality falls behind other reputed colleges
College is failure in managing wastes and maintain college clean

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum for each course is well structured and comprehensive to covering each area of engineering fields, providing a balanced blend of theoretical knowledge and practical knowledge. The course curriculum itself is not enough to create an engineer. Apart from the course curriculum industrial exposure and training will prepare you for real-world applications. The curriculum needs to focus more on the advancements in the engineering field and the practical knowledge of students. Exams are moderately difficult and always will completed on the correct time.

Placement Experience

From the seventh semester, students will be eligible for campus placements. For the batch of 2022, they got 710+ offers from 75+ companies. The higher offer is 32 LPA and the average salary is 6.8 LPA. The companies include many multi-national companies, Indian companies and startups. The popular companies include Larsen & Toubro, Oracle, and Reliance.

Fees and Financial Aid

8500 Rupees is the average tuition fee for a year, there is no specific tuition fee increase policy and a hike hasn't happened in the last few years. The government provide Various scholarships like egrants, MCM etc. which will cover both tuition fees and exam fees, and also provide small monthly amounts extra. Another fee is exam fees, which collected each semester range from 2500 to 3000 changes with semester

Campus Life

Overall the best campus life without high restrictions and a very beautiful campus to explore The college conducts Multifest, "DHYUTHI", which is supposed to be conducted annually but only conducted once in 2 years and Arts fest, URAKKE conducted by the union 2 times in the last 2 years. Clubs and other technical programmes are thriving with high participation and positive feedback.

Hostel Facilities

The college provides a very affordable hostel facility at a low rent and a mess with an average meal quality. Hostel also has a free wifi service and provide major malayalam and english newspapers daily. Application for govt. the hostel is completely online through college website and the admission is based on the distance of student's address from the college and annual income. There are so many private hostels and PG for students near the college

Hostel Fee: INR 220 per year

Admission

Eligibility of the course is to pass plus two exams in the science field and qualify KEAM-engineering exam. The application and admission would be based on keam rank list published by considering keam mark and plus two marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics subject. The application process is completely online through the website of CEE and the important dates, fees of application will be given on the website. Reservation is provided for each category

Faculty

Our college has one of the best faculties for each department. They are very experienced in their field and experts. Even though, the interaction between the faculties and students is very low, sometimes leads to poor learning experiences.

Good life memory

Likes

College ambience was too attractive. Friendly atmosphere ആൻഡ് very nice hidden spots and food spots inside the college
The faculty was too supportive and encouragive nature that was also in studies and extra curricular activities also that be very kind of them
There is not only aim to study but also encourage the extra activities. The management was also very supportive to students and also the faculties.

Dislikes

There is very strict to attendence. There was not to bunk the class every hour there will take the attendence and there will be absent they autimaticaly send sms to registerd phone
There is too many exams and assignments that will be little bit problem for students
Canteen facilities little bit bad in my college life time. There was not that much food veriety

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester onwards campus placement taken. There was coming in bcs, infopark, wipro, etc. Companies are mainly appeared and also many other companies came select many students. The main companies take students in cutoff 8.5or9 cgpa. And some other compnies take students they have backpapers.

This college is not what it seems in the first look.

Likes

College was at a beautiful place. It was not a city but a beautiful place.
Hostel was great. I got many friends from there.
These are the only things that I can think of.

Dislikes

Teachers, they are horrible one one teacher named aparna was professional and ethical. My HOD was the worst.
Principal is the worst. She does not hear students side. She is money minded. I had a fee pending for not more than 2 week. When I went to her for signing my medical report she demanded that she will sign only after I paid that fee
The college does not encourage extra curricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Likes

Decent infrastructure. hostel infrastructure is also clean and better than most colleges

Dislikes

Very poor campus life. No importance for cultural programmes and activities
Very poor and degrading environment for women. Faculties and other staff are very judgemental.
Very low packages for average students. Placement training is regularly being provided, but it is too hectic to be managed along with curriculum.

Placement Experience:

students become eligible for placements after sixth semester. Major companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, e.t.c are recruiters. about 5-10 students are recuited on average by these companies. highest package was offered by south indian bank in 2023 (10 LPA). average packges are around 2 to 3 LPA.

We have a very good faculty family that is not only supportive but also loving.

Placement Experience:

From the seventh semester we are eligible for the placements. They provide placement training sessions in the college itself. Computer Science department has almost hundred percent placements. Also there is mtech in the college if you prefer higher studies.

TIST , Great college , fun events and more

Likes

Our seniors passed out with flying colors joining different companies or starting their own. There's a good focus on peer learning and student communities which is pretty nice. Canteen food is decent and labs are great
Most people and professors are friendly and they encourage you to try out new things.

Dislikes

Hostel water , busses are pretty fast. Sometimes roads are a bitt rough

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

I feel like staffs in my department are pretty good, atleast they fullfill their duties to cover the portions in right time
We have placements training, offered free of cost by college itself
Notes and necessary materials for studying are provided from college itself, and most teachers don't force on buying textbooks or other materials

Dislikes

College is located in aarakunnam, which is a bit remote area hence for various needs we often need to travel a few kilometres even for basic necessities
The road to collage entrance is a steep road, and currently it's under construction (it's been a yr)
Students are required to park their vehicles outside the college, as there is no parking facilities for students inside campus

Placement Experience:

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

When it comes to the campus life, I enjoyed all the 4 years
The infrastructure was okayish Could've improved.
The faculty was really friendly and I was able to approach them without any hesitation.

Dislikes

The road from the junction to the college is not at all maintained. Students coming up the hill find it very difficult to reach college
The bus fees are increased every year. But these people can't find a way to provide seats for the students after paying their bus fee.
Some other campus offer many varieties of food in their canteen. This has to be done here too

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.

Remarks:

Yeah well, positive things are there. I got many friends. I got a degree. I learned much personal and professional knowledge. I also learned how to live independently for 4 years without parents alone somewhere.
