Course Curriculum Overview

Exams are sheduled regularly and spread out over the academic term which helps managing the workload. Their difficulty is fair , striking a balance between challenging students and assessing their abilities.

Class Size: 56Course Fees: INR 85000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fee is 85000 rupees and special fee is 10000 rupees. For some selected students the fee is only 10000 rupees. For all the 4 years the fee may be around 4 lakhs and during the statr of the course 1 lakh rupees as caution deposit has to be given.

Campus Life

Annual and technical fests will be conducted by the departments. The annual fest is called the cross roads. The campus linrary is well stocked with a diverse range of books and journals. Classrooms are equpped with modern technological provisions such as smart boards.

Admission

Keam entrance exam has to be written and the studnets with ranks less than 30000 may be eligible for studying btech in civil engineering. Details of the course are available in the website of the college.

Faculty

There are lots of faculties in a department. Faculty student ratio is more. Teachers are very friendly. Teachers provide every help we need and allow us to use all the facilities in the college. All of them are very friendly and help us in all the activities

from semister 6 students become eligible for campus placements and companies loke bank of america , google microsoft etc visited for campus placements and the highest package is about 54 lakhs where as average is 11 lakhs and about 98% of the students are placed

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Average student experience at amrita

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

I had applied for saitgaits,amal jyothi and cet. Considering cet,the fee and placements are high but the discipline and structured way is lacking.Now considering saintgaits and amal jyothi,there are more opportunities in mbcet to explore.. mbcet is also in the town and easily approachable via public transport.mbcet has a disciplined approach to studies.comparing the hostels too mbcet has one of the best hostels. I was rejected in cet for cs dept as i didnt aquire the required rank..i was accepted in both others but decided to join mbcet due to its status in society.
