Likes

The thing i like the most about my college is placements.
Faculty here are strict and security is also good
Getting exposed to various things which increases the interest in students to learn

Dislikes

The thing i don't like is the infrastructure
No encouragement in events.No occasional events.
There are no events in the college.Only one big event held that is euphoria

Course Curriculum Overview

Actually the curriculum is simple and effective.As a CSE student for us in first we had c langauage and python later java was introduced for us in 2 nd year semester 1 later then went in deep with DSA

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are many internships offers that come such as from GAP , servicenow ,providence , amazon, google .Students can also opt for internships off campus but will be allowed to only do internship for two months

In thirs semester only internships will be coming if students perform fell in thos it will convert into full time.Placements will start from fourth year.I will happen for nearly one year.CRT is also provided

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure before our batch fee used to be little less as there was a strick done by faculty college has to increase our fee .There are two categories A and B.for B category fee is little high 10Thousan more than ours.

Campus Life

Coming to events .Only Euphoria will be there that too once in a year . No other events.But yaah there are various clubs like photography , arts , music , dramatics nd varous other clubs present in the college

Admission

Application process was quite simple. the fee was reasonable.it is affordable by everyone there will be certain courses like CSE,IT,ECE,EEE,MECH,CIVIL.Now even certain other specializations are also included

In each section there are 75 students. For each subject there will be HOD who will set paper and other faculty. students and faculty will be in ratio 40:1.For every 10 students there will be a mentor who will assist you always. Every month in mentor session we can discuss if any problem we are facing.

Thinking Beyond Academics and Placements , life at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus.

Placement Experience:

Placement here are going on pretty well considering the recession that hit the market in recent years,student become eligible for placements from the first sem of their final year , typically 7th semester for single degree students (BE) and 9th semester for dual degree students (Msc+BE),as per the recent cycle around 310+ companies including Google, MIcrosoft,Goldman sachs etc. had visited campus with offer majorly ranging from 18 to 27 lpa , the highest package last cycle (domestic) was for 65lpa and average aroun 21 lpa. The perecentage of students getting placed is above 80% and remaining usually go on for pursuing masters or already have a PPO from the Practice School Internship.I personally will be sitting for placements in my last year and will be hoping to land a good offer.

Placement Experience:

Internships starts from spring break of 4th sem and placements start from spring break of 6th sem ( if you don't get a PPO ) Many big companies like Microsoft , Oracle , DeShaw and Qualcom visit the college. More than 80% of student that are eligible for placements get placed while the others get off campus placements or opt for higher studies. My plans after getting th degree depends on the CTC of package I get offered. If it is not upto my expectation I will pursue higher education abroad.
