Likes

College Infrastructure is the best here.
College Faculty is good and very experienced.
Placements here are also satisfactory and good.

Dislikes

Practical knowledge should be more improved although efforts are now being taken
Should be given permission to do internships on our own.
Everything is good here except a few which does not make a big difference

Course Curriculum Overview

The curiculum is decent and provides a solid foundation in core subjects. However, some of my friends feel that it is slightly outdated but appreciate the availability of many elective options which allow for gaining knowledge in ares beyond the main course.

Internships Opportunities

There are many internship oppurtunities from Third year itself. Many companies like Providence, DarwinBox, Oracle, DBS, GAP, Service Now come to give internships to the students. They come with different roles like SDE, Consultant etc

Placement Experience

Vasavi College is reported high placement rates, with around 95% of eligible students securing jobs. The highest package offered recently was around 42Lpa, with an average of 7-9Lpa. Some of the recruiters include - TCS, Oracle, Salesforce

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is 1,40,000 as of now. Yes, there are many scholarships the students can apply. Many students apply for scholarships here. There are good employement oppurtinities here. Projects, in particular are highlighted as a strong point.

Campus Life

The college supports a range of student- run clubs and socities, covering interests such as robotics, coding, arts and cultural activities. These clubs provide oppurtunities for students to develop skills outside of the classroom, network with peers, and participate for students to develop skills

Admission

The primary entrance exam taken into consideration is TS Eamcet The cutoff vary each year. For Cse- 2201 and for ME- 32289. Another way is JEE Main score under B - category which account for 30% of the seats.

Faculty

This college us known for its strong faculty and academic reputation. This college is also recorgnized for its efforts in maintaining a robust placement record. The faculty members are well qualifies , often holding advanced degress and significant industry and teaching experience

Life at RIshi

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements from year 4. The companies that usually visit are TCS, Capgemini and MMC etc. The college supports students by providing both technical and non technical jobs and any other uncoventinal career support upon request. Students aspiring to pursue education abroad are also provided with guidance and support.

Good college to join for study

Placement Experience:

So coming to placements they will provide good no. of placements if we have skills and keen of intrest to learn new things and grab oppurtunities. Also our colleg has NACC and NBA accredation there will be more companies approaching our college and taking students for placements and trainging. TP CELL will give its 100% in placements pushes students forward for various trainings and placements. Basically placement starts froms 3-2 mostly form 4-1 where students go to attend interviews and attend exams. companies like Infosys, Wypro, My schools, Infotech, and many MNC's. every year almost 150-200 students will be selected for placements. average package will be 3.0 - 4.5LPA and the highest package is 7.5LPA . their package is decided by companies according to the role they applied and thier level of skill. 45- 50% of the students will be selected for the placements. My plans after getting the degree: If i got selected in placement its well and good i will proceed further with the placement i got incase if didnt get placed i will try of the jobs and then shortly start a business.

Rishi Campus :- Worth a try

Placement Experience:

Our college has good placement opportunities. We are eligible for campus placements since 3-2 or 4-1. The highest package offered is 14 lakhs and the average package is 4 to 5 lakhs. 85 to 90% students get placements and others are also provided with other opportunities. We have got NAAC and NBA accreditations so we have more scope for placements now. I plan on getting a job and continue my MS.

My college experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was very particular in choosing my course ie- computer science engineering. My aim is to become a software engineer, so I was very passionate about the course since my 10th. I find this course is very good but the point is it focuses on all the areas, but for an engineer the main point is computer courses. If this part is focused more then it will be useful.

The placements in our college are very good the highest package which we got in our college this year is around 18 lpa and the lowest package offered is around 3 to 3.5 lpa and the average package is around 4.5 lpa a lot of companies come to our college to conduct the placement drive as we have campus recruitment training from our first year it makes it a bit easier to face the interview some of the companies that visit our college are mandatory cognizant TCS Accenture Infosys Wipro HCL ADP the placement drive starts when you are in your 4th year 1st semester or at the end of your third year second semester

since vasavi college one of top 5 college is our state, i preferd it and it have an good avg package in my branch comparing it other colleges. i compare my colleage with other in terms if infa structure, support,and our college is transpernet in terms of placement and admissions . and our college wont allowing nri cota so its an merit based college. so in our college students can acuire seat by 2 ways .one is by geting good rank like below 10k in tsemcet or else getting good rank in jee mains. so they will be spot adidmissions also based on jee ranks at end of admisssion. so i got for kmit - csm before getting admission in this college. since vasavi have good infra and palcements i prefered it. yes i got rejections form vnr college. since my rank is little higer than the cut off i got rejected....Read More
