Dislikes

The structure of the college. Not much importance to studies.
No regular classes. For few classes we are informed just 10-15 before.

Course Curriculum Overview

BCom (Hons) can be a strong foundation for pursuing higher studies like an MBA or professional certifications like CA or CFA. Teaching are not in details. Like take taxation we do sums or the problems and in that the teacher explains us the section and the concept. This should be changed

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 5170 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The complete fees for admission is rupees 5170 for freshers and examination fees is rupees 1280(approx). Currently no campus employment is offered to us. About scholarship we get Swami Vivekananda's scholarship. All students are not eligible for that.

Campus Life

Overall experience is fine I would say. We have cultural programmes, NSS, freshers party, farewell and puja celebration on different occasions like Durga Puja, Saraswati Puja, Kali Puja. Facilities in the classrooms include fans and lights.

Admission

Eligibility is more than 60% in 12th. No entrance exams to be given. Application fees, application form and application dates every detail is available online on the college website. The offline process gives first priority to girls that should be changed.

Basically some teachers are good and some are not. Few of them are very cooperative and easy to go with and few are not. They lash out on students for minor mistakes. But overall the teachers are good.

Placement Experience:

BESC has enjoyed an extremely high placement record. The Placement Cell draws 35 to 40 companies including the likes of TCS, EY, PWC, Deloitte, Oracle, Axis Bank, KPMG and Indigo to name a few. Eligible from 1 st sem students on wards Avg package - 4lpa highest is 16lpa After getting this degree i am thinking of pursuing mba anf then getting into business

Well among the curriculum of Bcom my most favourite is the management and Economics part. Cause I really love them and the teachers of that subject are really good . The improvement that I would want is the professors to come to the classes and teach us and finish the syllabus on time.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement in the last year which is 7th and 8 semester one can apply for internship or job from 7th and 8th semester. The highest package offered was of 11 lakh so far. And the average package is 4 to 5 lakh per annum. Like most of the Goenkans I am also thinking of pursuing CA as a profession but for now I am focusing on my BCom degree and after my BCom degree I will complete my MBA from a good reputed college.

It is a 4 year programme which offers placements. But if someone doesn't get direct placement they are still skilled enough to get a job off campus and it can go from 6 LPA to 12 LPA. If the performance is very poor they can't go to the 4th year.

I choose B.Com Hons as my subject because I want to pursue MBA in my future.The faculty of this college is amazing.They are all very helpful.Total no. of students for this course currently is 800 something and each sector has 120 students.The teachers use projectors to make us understand the concept clearly.Sem exams occur every six months and if you study properly you will score good marks for sure

Do Right Things Now For Your Future

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Out of the companies some of them are Institute of Charter Accountancy, Institute of GST ETC. They give us some packages for jobs. Like the highest package is about 50000 rupees and the lowest is 15000 rupees. Only few studets get chance in this companies. Like 5-10% students. I want to be a bank manager so i just keep my study moving on.

Firstly, the college was near to me as compared to other colleges. The infrastructure was also good and well maintained. Molecular Biology and Biotechnology Course in Kalyani Mahavidyalay

I chose other colleges like Sarojini Naido Women's College, Lady Brabourne College, Bethune College etc. I got a chance to get admitted in Sarojini Naido Women's College but I preferred my present college due to better course and distance from my home.
