Course Curriculum Overview

3

So the syllabus is somewhat good and somewhat bad the good thing is it covers most topics and the things start from basic subjects like problem solving skills which tought me about logical thinking and algorithms helped me a lot. The bad part it some of the subjects are really outdated and are not updated such as ecommerce they use textbook from 2005 which says debit cards are new form of transaction and it literally has things about telephone lines etc. And the teacher too doesn't accept the modern answers we need to learn and byhart the topics from textbook which is really bad. Also one more thing is there are too many subjects in one semester sunch as 8 subjects including two laboratory 10 it's too much of a burden sometimes

Internships Opportunities

3.5

About internship I don't know much but as of now I have asked the seniors so there are few who are in internship some are paid intership and by participating in hackathons we can grab good intership from companies.

Placement Experience

3.5

The employability comes down to student skills as of now my classmates have not developed their skill and will suffer in the near future so the college can't be blamed for not getting them a job but if a student has skills then he will be employed by good companies there are campus selection

Fees and Financial Aid

Ok so the fees for BCA is 85k a year and the facilities they provide are really good like the campus is really big and the computer laboratory have hitech computer and are well maintained. Coming to employment opportunities there are campus selection multiple compaylike IBM ,Adobe, Wipro, Infosys and many other come. But it's purely based on skills and not everyone is guaranteed with a job and I like that cause skill matters and students should not complain of not getting selected without skills.

Campus Life

4.5

The infrastructure is great and really amazing and everyday feels good teachers are supportive not everyone the HOD is good overall the campus experience feels great there are many clubs and many cultural events are organised and even sports they have huge fields for every sport the college also has a gym

Admission

So for eligibility for science students everyone got the seat even with low percentage but people coming from commerce such as me had to have 90+ percentage in 12th as there are few reservations and no other exams are required but for engineering there is a cutoff but for BCA it's not needed

Faculty

3.5

Few teachers are really very well qualified some of them have even completed their PHD and their reaching skills are amazing and they guide you even out of syllabus and Focus on skill development. But some other faculty are really bad I have heard that they have come through influence and they have no skills they focus on textbook knowledge and one of them is so bad at teaching she advices students to write and learn the code. It's a skill so we should practice on a computer and not on a piece of paper we shouldn't byhart the topics but this one teacher is not teaching students to develop their skill she is fixed on academic progress card marks.

Placement Experience:

The college provides placements. Students who are in 6th semester of their degree courses are eligible for campus placements provided by the college. A lot of IT companies regularly walk in for job drive with annual package of 3-6 LPA. The college provides basic placement support, but employability mostly depends on individual skill development. After completing the degree, I plan to pursue higher studies or improve technical skills to get better career opportunities.

Students will be eligible for internships from the fourth sem of their course. There are many big companies who have visited the campus and made really good offers but if you want a good package the level of difficulty to get into this will also be high. The average package for BCA is 3,00,000 per annum. As per University information their placement rate is 91 percent. After getting the degree I'll be looking for a good company to work for and gain my knowledge.
