Course Curriculum Overview

The ciriculum will be updated year by year based on the treanding technology of that particular year and also ciriculum will not be tightly packed .And u will get enough time to prepare for sem end exams

Internships Opportunities

we have got many offers form companies like jlr ,emerson, deloite, cisco, fedility etc with the stipend 50000, 45000, 20000, 90000, 35000 and during 5th sem we get more internship oppurtunities and many peoplw will get placed

Placement Experience

From 4th semester you will become eligible for placements and the companies that visit are deloitte, meesho, SAP , Benz, Bosch, Fedility,JLR etc and highest package is 55 lakhs and average is 12laksh, and alsmost 70% of people gets placed

Fees and Financial Aid

I have joined this college in 2022 through comedk and i am an geeral category student then i have paid 254000 for college and 30000 extra for admission and in 2023 i have paid 272000 and in 2024 i have paid 266000 and alo there are not extra fees for labs aand all everything will be included in college fee only who have joined through kcet will be having lesser fees compared to us some will be having 50k and some 120k

Campus Life

campus life of JSSTU is vibrant,with mix of acadamics, and social interations . Fest like jayciana will be conducted every year which is the biggest fest of mysore .. JSSTU also have a big library that contains thousands of books .it also have digital library

Hostel Facilities

In girls hostel per each room 3 students are allocated irrespective of course and year and it is completely south indian menu with chapati 2 times a day and rating of food is average and fee is completely affordable

Admission

I choosed this college beacause of the placements and the average package over here .And also the Acadamic and faculty , infrastructure and facilities .And I applied to RV and BMSCE but couldn't secure the cutoff marks.

Faculty

Faculty in computer science engineering are pretty friendly u can aproch them whenever u want to clear ur doubts.And some teachers encourages us to participate in hackathons they organize hackathons in our college and also guide us in making amazing projects

Night Life

Reference section willl be open till 8pm and girls hostel are 7:30 pm and for boys hostel it is 9:30 pm and gym will be close by 5:30pm and cafeteria will be open till 9:00pm and during jayciana campus will be open till 11:00 for everyone

Placement Experience:

students can be eligible for placements from 3rd year only, many companies have visited the college like TATA,Accenture and many other.The highest package for this year is about 19 lakhs , average package is about 3 lakhs,talking about the percentage our college has 77% of the college placements, i am planning to pursue higher education after my graduation

Life at IIT Dharwad - What to expect

Placement Experience:

At IIT Dharwad, students become eligible for campus placements right after their 7th semester(i.e. after the start of 4th year) and during their 3rd year, students also have opportunities to sit for internships which can later convert to PPOs. The companies that have visited our campus are Adobe, Amazon, Texas, TCS, wipro etc. The highest CTC offered was 55LPA and average package for CSE is 18-20LPA, and for the core branches is around 10-15LPA. In CSE more than 93% of the students got placed and many of other students opted for higher studies . In the core branches the placement percentage was around 85-88%. After My degree, I plan to go for a Software Engineer role.

Placement Experience:

We enter the placement at the end of 3rd year almost at 4th year(6th to 7th semester). The placement cell organizes various traning program, including mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills workshops. Past 3 to 4 years more than 10 companies per year offered hiring 100+ students. But over the year the companies have come down and providing les opportunities. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc recruite students from this college. The highest package is 25LPA and the average package is around 6LPA. Due to the increase in the rate of admission, the percentage has been decresed. Almost 25 out of 100 students are getting placed in this college. After getting degree, I will try my level best to get placed in campus itself. If not, I am interested more in Competitive exams, I will focus on it.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

Placement Experience:

From the7th sem onwards campus placements are put in place for btech students. Many companies such as microsoft, google, BMW, mercedes, accenture and others look for students here. The top 100 of each branch get the highest packages with the average of that being 22lpa for the cce branch. The rest of the students that are placed have an average salary of 14 lpa. Almost all the students are placed with the placement rate being around 90% for my branch. I plan on working for 2 years after getting placed and then pursuing an MBa degree abroad to further my tenure as a valuable asset to whatever company takes me under their wing.

IIT Dharwad Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in college . Highest package was 52 lpa in 2024 and average was 9-10 lpa. But the percentage was very less in 2024 because of recession and negligence of placement cell and their bad decisions.
