Course Curriculum Overview

3

The core classes on core subjects were good but beyond that one needs to really scratch his head. There weren't many workshops only one on nuclear energy. The curriculum lacked modern equipment studies like they were still using outdated equipment and much of it was inadequate. The ratio of equipment to student was 1:20.

Internships Opportunities

3

Every department has its own internship group plus there are college internship groups. The stipends are usually over around 10-20k. The roles are basics like sales marketing content writing nothing technical like software development.

Placement Experience

3.5

semester 5 is when students become eligible for placement but now it is Semester 7. Major consulting and banking companies visit the campus. you have to be thorough with quant basics. The highest package goes as high as 20 lpa and the average is around 3.5 lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fees were pretty low compared to what you get The fee hike does not happen as such in my course tution fees of 66000 exam fees of 4800 for all 6 semesters. inspire scholarship is available for science students plus there is this scholarship for students in every department by college

Campus Life

4.5

there is an annual college fest in Hansraj and you can visit the college fest of any du college besides there are small departmental festival quizzes. the library is well equipped with books and tables and chairs The classroom are equipped with ac.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of KMC works really well. Many top companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, and Wipro visit the campus. It also arranges internships and placement drives, making sure students are ready for jobs. Overall, KMC provides a lively atmosphere and strong career support. From 6th Semester onwards, students can sit for campus placements. The highest package was upwards of ?30 LPA and the average package is around ?6-8 LPA. Our course saw a similar average package and the highest package was ?23 LPA. Around 30% of the previous batch was placed with the rest going for higher education and other job or entrance examinations. After getting my degree, I plan to go for higher education in statistics or economics. And beyond that I have made up my mind that I want to appear for the UPSC Civil Services Examination and RBI Grade B Officer examination.

The course is good but placement is very bad in the campus. The frequency of exams is 2 hours or 3 hours depends on the credit of that subject. The exam level is of moderate level. We had pass the exam studying 1 week before the exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

as been from the science background I have deep interest in maths already, and I want to continue my passion for it. The proves the critical thinking the imaginary parts and the applications of mathematics. We see every day it motivates to think about these theorems. The curriculum of course is very good, but due to NEP, we have to study subjects like Hindi in our AEC which is very irrelevant to the curriculum and waste our four hours weekly in mathematics, we mainly deal in proof and theorem. There are very less real word applications that are being taught here. There are various areas for improvement like we can adapt the course or the curriculum.in universities like IITs,Cambridge Oxford and other big universities so that the placement and internship percentage can get improved in our college
