Sset is the campus having rating 1 in case of BTech in private self-financing engineering colleges of kerala.they have good previous results and placement records. companies like Infosys, TCS, CTS, Wipro are coming here to recruit students. near 100 students are getting placed per year
Course Curriculum Overview
We have our portal to see our entered details in the college records.we can see our internal assessment marks and attendance status by subject or by day.we can get the daily timetable, teachers listing, contact details, payments etc through our college portal.
Internships Opportunities
College provides an internship with its relationship to a university in Japan. they provide stipend near 1lakh
Placement Experience
The placement record of the set is higher when compared to other. This year 132 got placed in Infosys itself.now also the placement cell is going on. companies like Wipro is continuing its recruitment process on the campus. The job opportunities provided is very high
College Events
We conduct techfest, arts in the alternating year. techfest is known as igniz and arts fest is called vipanchika. moreover this we are celebrating Onam,keralapiravi, college arts, Pradeep P Thevannoor innovation award (ppt), Ascendio under IEEE, Executive day etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The annual tuition fee is ?85000 for students allotted through entrance exam. as a part of a fee waiver scheme, some students need to pay ?50000 or ?35000.in case of management seat they receive 135000 as tuition fee and 150000 for NRI seats.?1850 as hostel rent for hostellers.
Fees and Financial Aid
Sset doesn't provide any scholarship or loan for students. They have a special arrangement called karukutty quota for allowing students near college through management seats
Campus Life
The campus life is almost good. We are getting a lot of opportunities to participate in many events. The college has scored the first price in many intercollege game events like kabaddi, football, volleyball, cricket, chess etc. The lab is good according to facilities.but faculties are not so good.
Hostel Facilities
The facilities in the hostel are good. They provide full-time power backup, Library facilities.hostellers are able to use the library too late at night. In the case of mess food, it's not so good for amount paying. They don't provide any reduction.we need to pay if we are not using mess.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni conducts workshops on various themes.it is very useful for students.they also help in the recruitment process of college
Exam Structure
The conduct 2 internal assessment for each semester. University is asking to conduct exam for 20 marks only. but our set is conducting it of 50 marks each. This makes the students restless and sleepless. If they conduct exam for 20 there is enough time and relaxation for students.
Admission
I appeared for the team entrance and got a rank of 18372 in it. I applied for allotment through the single window process of cee kerala.the in the third allotment I got admission here. When I reached the college they verified my certificates and had an interview with the principal. Then they led me to the lab and enrolled my details as a part of my admission
Faculty
We can access the facility either directly meeting them or via phone.they are always helping us. we can get connected with them even through social media also.they are always willing to stay back and extra classes on holidays and after college hours.they also help with printed notes regarding the subject
