Likes

The college has really good infrastructure like ac classrooms canteen, labs, playground etc. I thank what they can improve is the library room
The college has really good clubs you can join like GDSC, VIVARTA, events keep happening round the the year, which really elevates the college life experience as we get to learn so many new things make new connections etc.
Some faculties are really good and some are average, in total they are good and supportive.

Dislikes

The library doesn't have any seating arrangement for students.
More Internship opportunities are appreciated.

Course Curriculum Overview

Unlike my expectations the relevance of the curriculum was really good.The syllabus is well designed and consists of modern industry demanded topics/subjects. We have modern subjects along with basics like Blockchain, Java, python, DBMS etc

Placement Experience

3.5

The college provide placements in service based companies only. Students are eligible/told to prepare from 5th semester, by the end of 5th semester students get placed and usually get offer letter before final exam. Almost 80% students get placed. I plan to sit for placement and get a job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is 65,000 for 1st semester and then 55,000 for the rest 5 semester, also additional 2000 rs exam fees in every semester. Yes the college has couple of scholarships like the Vivekananda scholarship and West Bengal student credit card, but no dedicated scholarship of its own. The college has good pacements, service based companies like tcs, whipro, congnizent Capgemini etc comes to recruit.

Campus Life

There is Sahotsava festival held annually. Then there are are small fests like departmental meets, shyari festival, gaming fests that keeps happening round the year. The club scene here is really good: There is Google Developer Student Club (GDSC) which keeps conducting upskilling events/sessions, VIVARTA etc. Sports is average, no dedicated coach/equipment,but there are 2 big grounds. Classrooms are central AC. And another perk is that you don't have to buy any books all the semester Books are given from the library.

Admission

Addmission for BCA was pretty straightforward and was only based on the percentage scored in 10th and 12th. No entrance exam is required. Above 60% is alright to get admission. To take admission you can directly call their number on the internet. 2 exams are taken every semester: One is called MTA which is 20mark mcq exam, another is ESA 80 mark written exam.

Faculty

4.5

The faculties are really qualified, most of them holding Msc or Phd degrees. The teacher to student ratio os average around 1:30. Overall they are supportive and easily approachable. They are always there in case you face any problem both study realated and other matters.

About my college

Remarks:

We have got good faculties. The teachers are very much friendly and helpful. Besides class one can get teachers guidance anytime. They help us with the upcoming trends. The environment is really good. The seniors are very nice and helpful. It has got two basketball court two football grounds.

obviously other governments colleges ike JU , JGEC and CU are better than it but our college placement is better than otehr privet colleges and the environment of our college is best for study.
