Course Curriculum Overview

I choose course because I'm interested in commerce and it's my preferred course. Teachers are well qualified with masters degree and phd's too. In 3-4 months and easy to pass for one's who study for it very efficiently. This course prepares you well for the corporate field as well for government fields too.

Class Size: 95Course Fees: INR 22500 per year

Internships Opportunities

There is a internship cell which helps you with internship opportunities from different fields and different companies.There are paid internships which provide you a good stipend ranging 10k to 20k and even 25k per month in few caes.

Placement Experience

Yes, the college provides very good placement opportunity. Average salary may be 6-8 lakh per year but you can get upto 20-25 lakh per year. Several of companies visit the college but I dont have more details cause I havent seen placements yet. From 5th semester student can look for placement opportunity.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for the course is not much. It is almost 23k per year and inaddition there is only exam form fees which will be around 1500-2000 per semester. You can get scholarship or fee concession from college ,if you are from economic weaker section .I dont have taken any employment in campus but you can go for it,there are many opportunities.

Campus Life

Overall campus is amazing and enjoyable as it is north campus of delhi university .Here are many colleges of the same and you can socialize with people from different localities here only. There is a annual fest held in every north campus college and in our college it is held in month of april named "Confluence".

Admission

Cuet entrance test with maths or accounts as subject compulsory in class 12th. Cuet samarth ug website, 1200 application fees, dates are after 12 exam. Some seats are reserved under category and under sports and eca too. Cuet occur once a year after your 12th boards and it is not too difficult exam.

Faculty

The faculty in the college is well qualified. As it is one of the best colleges of the delhi university, faculty is very selective and qualified too. They have very good teaching methods and are also a good mentors to their students.you can interact with your teachers from monday to friday in college hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very interesting & it teaches you a lot about the entrepreneurship. Specially in the field of commerce it gives you the right information and exposure to the real world. Subjects like Corporate law , business law , Cost accounting and etc teaches you a lot about practicality.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say that SEC and VAC, were added by the university to enhance students mind, but these subjects feel more like burden to the students. And also the theoretical and numerics being taught, are not relevant to todays world, as curiculum in the books is not upto date, The assignments pressure.. and sometimes the fear of getting low marks.

MLNCE - Average but Enjoyable

Placement Experience:

The placement in Motilal Nehru College (Evening) is decent and is led mainly by the Placement Cell. Though inactive earlier, the placement cell has become significantly more active recently, bringing in more internship and job opportunities. Students become eligible for placements during 3rd year. In a good placement season, companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, EY come for Audit, Taxation, Risk Advisory, HR jobs. Other companies like DE Shaw & Co, Accenture, Capital IQ also come during job fairs. Earlier, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Flipkart have also recruited from the college mainly for Sales, Business Development, Operations jobs. Highest on-campus package is ?18.7 LPA and rhe average package is ?3.6-4.5 LPA. Approximately 40% to 50% of students who participate in the process secure placements. My plan is to get into freelancing after college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In regard to the relevancy of the course Im quite fond of the subjects such as BL CA AND HRM they give us the better insights for both practical and theoritical knowledge making us ready for the "real" world . As For the improvement i feel like there should be some flexibility in GE so that students can choose a sub as per their choice as Hindi is fixed for me which isnt quite suitable for my course and it just drags my CGP down. The frequency if the exam is okay but the timing I feel like its way too fast just after first sem exam we had classes and all test and felt like it went on a spur

An Unfiltered View of SRCC

Placement Experience:

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
