Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is affiliated to Panjab University. The topics are connected to the real world scenarios which helps in our future. The teaching methods are also great but can do more better. The exams are conducted twice a year and the level of the exam is moderate, we can't say it's tough or easy. It motivates us to study well practically.
Internships Opportunities
Various companies provide jobs to the graduating students providing them a salary of 15-20k as a fresher. Mostly are from the call centres that requires students from all streams and prefer students with english honours for the calling session.
Placement Experience
College offered various placements from call centre and air hostess. The students become eligible for the placement in their last year or can say in the 5th or 6th semester. The highest package till now is of 5-6 lakhs/year. My plans after getting this degree is to pursue a master's degree from MCM itself
Fees and Financial Aid
I would say the tuition fee in a private college like MCM it is affordable even if we compare it to the govt colleges there is a slight difference between the two. The complete cost of education of BA in MCM was 75k. I have just graduated from the college and looking for placements. Our college has initiated various job opportunities from the post of a call centre operator to a air hostess.
Campus Life
Meraki, the annual fest of MCM college. It is a very fun fest as we get to see EDM night and star night with lots of food and music. On monthly basis every festival is celebrated from diwali to holi to Christmas many more. Bollywood day, modelling competitions are also held.
Admission
The eligibility of the course is 12th pass with first division. The application form is available on the official site of the college. I have not availed any reservation benefit therefore can't say much on it. The admission process can be improved a bit by avoiding red tapism.
Faculty
The faculty is great. The teachers provide insights with the ongoing topics. Provides us with lots of information out of the box in general which proves to be a win-win. The teachers there are more like friends.
