Likes
- Things I liked about college is college curriculum. College curriculum is similar to IIT's. We have good subjects to study.
- Second is club culture. Here we have lots of club which include some serious club which is based on real life problem solving. We have satellite club. In 2016, coep satellite was launched by isro.
- Third thing is Placement. We have good placement here. With less than lakh fees per year we get around 10 lakhs per annum
Dislikes
- Qaulity of teaching. Some teachers are best, some are medium, some are worst.
- Food Quality in mess is good but not best
- Fees, as we are coming here after getting top ranks in maharashtra though over fees are very high comparative to other private colleges. We are from government college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I will give 9 out of 10. Our curriculum is well. We have a curriculum like top IITs. We have some quality teachers in design of the curriculum. We are lucky to have such curriculum. Now our curriculum become more strong by removing unnecessary things in computer like mech stuff and other subjects are removed and only department related subject are tought nowadays.
Internships Opportunities
Good. Here in our college good good companies comes and they offer good-good packages. I got placed in one of company where I get good life and experience. They also give us total 6 months for internship in last semester and summer intership for 2 months they allow us.
Placement Experience
Placement are good. Now the percentage is reduced. Before 5 years, we have 100% placement here. Now it is around 80% because of recession in companies. Average package if you are from computer department is 12 lakhs per annum. If you are good in study you can get 20lk easily. Great.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes in our college there are some scholarship also. I am giving info about available scholarship. First is government scholaship which you can check on MahaDBT as your applicabality. Second is Alumini scholarship which you can request to that dept, if you are really want then you get it, but you have to pay back after your graduation but that's good as there will be no burden on your head till your graduation being completed.
Campus Life
I am well satisfied here with my college. I get good opportunities here. I got placement in good company because of my college. Here I involve in various games, activities and clubs which gives me good experience and knowledge. Thank you.
Hostel Facilities
Relatively good. But as per the amount they charges for the hostel it is not sufficient. We need more services here as per the fees they charged for our hostel. Here we have aligned mess which sounds good in taste.
Admission
We have strict admission process. Here in our college admission are based on MHT-CET marks which is maharashtra state entrance. No donation allowed. Only with talent you can enter here. You have to sequre rank in top 250 if you want to take admission here in computer in open category in spot round. This is last rank.
Faculty
We include all the categories of faculties. Some are god-level best. Some are medium. As our college is one of the best in our state, so our faculties are also best. They have good experience in there subjects. They teach us very well. I like it.
