Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is same and old like any other mediocre level engineering college that is assignments, mid semester, end semester, project same process each semester. The curriculum is old and have no role in real world applications and does not make us job ready. The assignment which is given or the project that is given teacher should check that every one should do it on their own and not just copy paste from a single place and have absolutely no knowledge about how it works,what is it etc. There are two mid sem and one final sem examination as we become seniors the difficulty level decreases but paper checking for final semester exam is done by university and there is a lot of discrepancies in it.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fee for Btech is 41000/sem but there are many scholarship schemes provided by the college. One is that is open to all gen, obc, sc/st, in this scheme the scholarship is provided on the basis of marks obtained in class 12th for eg I got 79% so my scholarship is 50% cut in fee but if I got any backlog in any subject my scholarship is removed and I can again get scholarship if I clear my back. Next scheme is for Punjab residents which basically makes the tution fee of whole btech to be ?8000 but it is only for SC/ST students of Punjab only. The college is also registered under Bihar credit card scheme
Campus Life
There is no campus life as such, there is only one fest in a year, campus infrastructure is falling apart tiles are falling apart from building hostel washrooms are in miserable condition, but the hostel Life is good there are regular events organised by students for hostel only like DJ night, kabaddi championship and many more.
Hostel Facilities
There are four blocks each block for each year of students the first year block and 2nd year block are comparatively new and their infrastructure is better but the third year block and 4th year block are in miserable conditions the ceilings are falling apart the walls are falling apart the quality of mess is very much in a mediocre level sometimes you get good food sometimes you get soiled food they's nothing you can do about it as the mess is cooperative miss that means there is no profit ability attach for the functioning of the mess it is only functioning for the students of the hostels. The fees of hostel is very low that is 6000 for an year and the mess charge is around 3000 for a month.
Admission
The admission was pretty straightforward it was seamless process carried out within an hour the teacher provided all the instructions and guidance. It cost only 5000 to get registered yourself and get the admission. You have to just contact the college for admission and they will ask for the basis details of yours and then visit the college and within an hour your admission is done.
Faculty
The teacher are mediocre level when comes to the knowledge, technical knowledge as half of the teacher are with masters and deployed on the contract basis. Sometimes even when teacher is wrong still act as they are right and act like a fascist. But some teacher mainly male faculty are supportive and handles students problem. They are moreover acts as a friend we are free to communicate them any hour of the day and there is no consequences.
