- College pays a lot of focus on academics and placement opportunities are great in the college.
- The new schemes which the college has introduced recently are truly at par with the new education policy
- The college is small which can be a negative also but to be honest you can access all departments very easily.
Dislikes
- First of all there is no sports facilities whatsoever. College just wants you to rote learn n write test
- No focus on overall development of the student, teachers just come n want you to learn by heart everything for cgpa rather than telling them to explore new new things
- College is just pathetic in its infrastructure, stress is more on rvu rather than rvce.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum with the new scheme, which they have introduced is quite good and tries to help the students to gain more practical exposure, no doubt about it but again, the issue is with the faculty teaching it. The frequency of exams is once every month.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fee varies onto which quota you are coming in the college. 3 modes you van come through: Kcet, ComedK and management quota. The fees remains constant throughout and is set as per your year of coming to college. The cost of education through Cet will be 370000 and through ComedK will be 900000 and through management quota it varies according to your branch.
Campus Life
Cultural fest name is 8th mile and technical fest is organised by ecell. They are organised once per year . Meaning that only one fest whether be cultural or technical happens every year. All kinds of Books are available in the library. There are average kind of facilities in class but now they have installed smart boards in some classrooms. There is no sports as such on campus
Admission
Admission happens through ComedK and kcet exams. I took admission through ComedK and my rank was 1873. My course cutoff was around 3000. For CSE ISE AI ECE the cutoff was 300, 500, 650, 1400, respectively. Comedk is conducted on single day in 2 shifts. There are no reservations for ComedK.
Faculty
Faculty to students ratio is 1:20 and yes there is enough faculty. The faculty is well educated also is quite approachable. Some teachers are really fantastic but this issue is again about their focus, their main focus is on how to make students a learning machine and judging students on internal marks. Zero practical experience is given.
