Likes
- The faculty is very supportive, I am from covid batch even in that time the faculty support us and clear our all doubts.
- College also organize many Hackthons and webinar which is very helpful for students. There is no issue of attendences, NOC is easily provided for internships and teacher also provide some project to student
- Overall Placement is nice, in our lot of company visited the college for core branches like ECE, Mechnical with decent package of 7 LPA, and for Branch like CSE, IT may big companies like Atlassian, De shaw visited, placement for CS and IT is good
Dislikes
- Location is not upto the mark, you can find PG near college but it not good. Tye nearest metro is Rithala metro which is 7 KM away from college
- Infrastructure is not good even they have limited campus space but they built so many departments
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is not up to the mark. It was out dated , but for new batch they revisied the syallbus which is much better than old one that we have. About exams for each semester you have mid term and end term examination for both praticals and theroy. For theroy the ratio is 25:75 for mid term:end term and for praticals ratio is 40:60
Internships Opportunities
For our batch, Atlassian and Adobe visit in 6 sem for internship opportunities. Except this college provide no internship opportunity. But it is necessary for student to done internship in 4 and semester break as in 5 and 7 semester there is a subject industrial training just to evaluate your internship experience which is a mandatory subject
Placement Experience
In terms of placement it is number 1 college of ipu university. For CS and IT branch, avg package is 7 LPA and company like Attlasian, De shaw, Ion trading, Adobe also visit, approx 60-70 company visit for CS and IT with package range from 4 LPA to 50 LPA. For core branches, in our batch many company visit with decent package of 6 LPA
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is 133200 for 2020 batch for one year which may be increase for new batch. Other than there is 5000 for book bank which is optional. and they take 10000 extra in first year as a security amount which is refundable. College also provide scholarship to students whose family income is less than 6 LPA, but it is not necessarily they provide this every year
Campus Life
You hardly involved in any campus events, as college organize only hackthons and webinar, but there is no fest host in MAIT. Only one fest called aungooj held in main campus of IPU university for whole university. There is no issue of attendence so student hardly came to class
Admission
You can get admission through jee main, cutoff is approx 40000 for CS outside delhi, and you have to fill ipu counselling form as MAIT is afflicted under IPU. Counselling fee is 2000 at my time and when you got seat you have to pay 40000 to lock seat which is adjust in college fee at time of admission
Faculty
Faculty Member of MAIT is highly educated, some professor also done PHD in there field and even wrote some books. They are also supportive in nature, if you ask for any help they will help you. Some professor also worked with students in research department.
