What Students Say

Likes

Single rooms are provided to every student from second year onwards and triple sharing in first year.
The classrooms are amazing, large in size equipped with sir conditioners and centrally located.
Most of the people I met in the college were very down to earth and helpful, something you don't get to see everywhere these days

Dislikes

The placement cell is screwed up and the placement officers are very arrogant and always blame you for everything.
The college and the entire city is vegetarian friendly and it gets very difficult to find good quality non veg food.
The laboratories are very old and most of the machines are not in working condition anymore.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is pretty relaxed and students pass the examinations only by overnight studies and the entire semester coursework is not very engaging. You will get plenty of time to do things of your own interests.

Internships Opportunities

Few companies visit for internship which is mandatory during the sixth semester. You can also opt for project with some professor rather than internship. The curriculum however is going to change and the internship period will be shifted from sixth semester to eighth semester.

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for placement from 7th semester if they have no existing backlogs. However for our batch the placement season was worst over the last 10 years with less than 50% overall placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee per semester is around 77000 for General students having annual family income greater than 5 lacs, 35000 for income between 1-5 lacs and 15000 for income less than 1 lac and SC/ST students. This includes hostel room fee as well. However the mess fee is approximately 35000 per semester

Campus Life

Campus Life is the best part. There are plenty of clubs and sports facilities so it will be easy to find something of your interest. There are also several events happening every now and then. It's a good way to meet me people as well as for confidence boosting.

Hostel Facilities

The fee of room is 7000 per semester but the mess fee is 35000 per semester and the food quality of the mess is below average. During the final year, my friends and I hardly visited the mess and mostly ate outside food. However the hostel Life is the best you can get and we were literally crying while leaving the college.

Hostel Fee: INR 70000 per year

Admission

The admission process is quite smooth and you'll get to face least amount of trouble during the entire process. It mainly happens through JEE main and Josaa counseling and the cutoff depends upon your gender and category.

Faculty

The faculties more or less are very lenient and it is very easy to pass your exams barring one or two subjects over the entire BTech course. Most of the faculties are least concerned about the students however most of them are serious when it comes to attendance.

Placement Experience:

I don't know about placement because my batch is the second batch of btech course but the hod have assured that they will bring companies. In 7th semester students become eligible for placement. The average package you could expect is 300000.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunity in my college are quite good and student usually become eligible for the campus placement for 16 and seven semester, depending on the course number of recruitment, companies of the IT finance, consulting and the core industry, visit the campus, each year, student companies in for TCS et cetera, et cetera, the highest package offer is the quite impressive and average package a decent and the comparative compare to the other college and the region. This colleges through the job profile offer Software development, business analytics sector on the average packet of 78% are eligible and perform interview.

Placement Experience:

The thing about my course placement is that my batch is second batch so no batch have been passed out and placed in btech but the dean have assured us about the placement as they have bought companies for others courses so they will surely bring for btech also that's what they said. The companies will mostly nearby to dpg degree college. And the average package will maybe 3 lakh per annum.

Our college is the best option if you can't get good IITs or NITs and the research culture is excellent.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario is excellent which is responsibly managed by the Head of the Department. Almost 95% of the students got placed with decent salary packages in MNC ranges between 8-9 LPA. For cooperatives and milk plants, the salary package offered ranges between 5-6 LPA. I choose this college cause, I am interested in this branch and I don't have any prior interest in any particular colleges, in this college I am getting the particular branch I am interested in,while there are few colleges which are providing me same branch but they have some limitations like there infrastructure is bad or crowd is not that wonderful like here people are generous and motivated you can't find the same everywhere. Reality of NIT kurukshetra

I took this college because the nit kurukshetra is one of top college in India for engeenering. I also applied dtu and i also get it in but not cs breach which is my priority. I also want to go iit but i am able to qualified the jee advance.
