College Review

Well, our courses are very relevant and the curriculum we have provides us with lots of knowledge and experiences which are very reliable for real-world experiences. We have to give a total of 4 examinations mainly i.e. 2 terminals, 1 Pre-university, and 1 university exam, in between we also have ward leavings examination for clinical postings and PCTs for every subject.

As our college is a government medical college, we don't get placements in private institutions but after completion of the ug internship we can apply for private facilities otherwise we have to work for govt. Facilities of various hierarchies like PHC, CHC, and District hospitals, and also after completion of PG we can apply for private facilities.

After the completion of the senior final year which is the fourth year the students become eligible for an internship in the hospital. After one year of internship, the students are placed in various govt. Medical facilities like PHC, and CHC. The average income varies from district to district but yes minimum they can earn upto 5LPA or 6LPA after a UG degree and after a PG they can earn a minimum of 12 LPA.

In our college, the total fee including tution, hostel, and library fees is 50000. For scholarship, we have govt. scholarship programs that provide it based on the annual income of the family. Recently the stipend for Interns and PGs has been increased in our states.

We have an annual fest which includes various activities like fine arts, cultural programs, and sports events for 6-7 days, after the COVID pandemic, it happens around October or November month. We have inter-college sports events which occur 2-3 times yearly including games like basketball, table tennis, and badminton.

We have total 7 hostels for both PG and UG students. Each room can accommodate 2-3 person, we also have dormitories which accomodates upto 10 persons. In hostel there's also a study room . Few hostels have common washrooms and toilet and other have attached washrooms and toilet . We have 24 hrs facility of water and electricity. The meal can vary from each mess in there respective hostels but we're allowed to join any of it according to our choices. They provide 3 non vegetarian meals per week. The registration procedure for hostel is very easy we just have to fill up the forms and then the hostel incharge will allot the rooms according to availability.

For admission, we have to take the NEET examination which can be applied online and we have to get more than the cutoff marks for the respective categories. There are 2 rounds of counseling and one mop-up round and the categories also include All india quota, state unreserved quota, and state reserved quota.

All the teachers here hold master's degree in their department and are very knowledgeable. As per the faculty-student ratio the PGs of the respective departments also help us. Mostly the lectures are done through PowerPoint presentations by teachers and small group discussions on various small topics. The teachers are amiable and helpful so you can always approach them with your queries after classes or during SDG.
