The college campus have attached lake with it. All the students all together sing dance and enjoy the evening over their after the college
The teacher faculty of bachelor of commerce department are highly qualified with great experience.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum course gives us a good amount of choice to choose from. It will be more impactful if they add partical and real life use in the curriculum course. The time provided for the course is sufficient but the semester exam time gap are little lesser than usually because of the COVID problem hope the shedule will be fixed soon

Class Size: 130Course Fees: INR 25000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee for the whole course is around 25000 but with other extra exam charges it increased to 30000 the payment structure is in installments as you have to pay twice in a year for 3 year.The college provides Swami Vivekananda scholarship to the students who are eligible for it.

Campus Life

Aur college have a a huge library with good collection of books. The computer lab is fully updated version. The science department have their different laps with all the nessarey equipment. We have our cultural festival which helps in the extra curricular activities.

Admission

Students who have cleared their higher secondary exam are eligible for the course. The application form are available in the college website. SC , ST ,OBC reservation are available students having this can get the benefits of it . No addmission exam or entrance exam are taken it is totally merit based. The college can improve the numbers of seats available in the course.

Faculty

The faculty member are very helpful and they interact with the students on daily basis for our betterment. The teaching methods are understandable and easy for the students. The members in faculty are sufficient and highly qualified with great experience.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

SXC is an old pedigree!

Placement Experience:

Companies of all domains like the Asian Paints, EY, Nestle and HDFC Bank among all of them come to SXC. Biggest placements so far has been of 20 lakhs or so when one of the student was placedat such a package in 2024.

SXC Kolkata is a niche college!!

Placement Experience:

At our college placements are good and many core companies or finance and IT are here for placements and intenrships as well. Average placements from what I have checked is around 4-5 lakhs per year for B.Com (Hons) students.

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell club which functions in the college itself which is efficient in providing over 67 to 98% of students with placements. This percentage can vary for different years and different courses. The college has been successful in attracting top recruiters like deloitte, wipro, TCS, and leader companies from various other sectors. Packages vary significantly from 4 to 6 LPA up to 24LPA. After getting my degree i am planning to first make sure that i have completed my CA course that i am pursuing alongside. And then going ahead with either a job outside kolkata or open a business in kolkata itself.

I always want to build my career in commerce and my aim is to be a chartered accountant. So I took this course because the syllabus of CA and B.com is the same. our college faculties are so helpful. They always come forward to resolve our academic and nonacademic doubts. Their teaching methods are also good. we don't need to purchase any book, their notes are enough for our syllabus.
