Remarks

Less financial support from the management for the events conducted in the college

Entrance Preview

I opt this college because this is one of the best tech colleges in Kerala. And one of the two colleges having the course 'Mechanical Production Engineering'.This is the only college with both NAAC and NBA accreditation in Kerala, which is an important minimum requirement for many companies for recruitment. So not all BTech graduates from other college get jobs when passed out but all students TKM will get jobs

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is pretty good and optimized. During the first year of your bench, you'll be learning about the basics of all other branches and introduction to your branch. From the second year onwards you'll learn your subjects. There will two series test which will be taken as internal marks out of 50. And one University exam in each semester out of 100.

Internships Opportunities

No, they don't provide internships but the teachers will suggest the best place to take internships and the will recommend for the same. Two internships are mandatory

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement in the college is controlled by a college organization called as CGPU. And every branch and every class have representatives in that organization. It also has teachers. Most of the eligible students are getting placed every year. Most of the placements are in Electrical, electronic branches

Fees and Financial Aid

TKM MCM scholarship is given by the college management for the poor background students. From each class 3 students get the scholarship, students shouldn't have any backlogs

The campus life is great, we will learn what life is from this campus since it has students from every district of the state and also students from different states and nations are also studying in this college. The number of girls and boys are almost Equal and no events are gender biased

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facilities are good. The hostel have all the important facilities like. Internet collection for each laptop.Gym for boys and girls. There are a sufficient number of rooms to accommodate the students who are coming from a distance. The food is good and we can eat as many as we want, no limits. Tastes are goods

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network of the campus is so great and active. Most of the events are sponsored by alumni and the alumni are so powered full and well settled as well since the college is so. Old... The college is established in 1952

Exam Structure

Every semester contains three exams mainly. Two series exam and one University exams. Series ex will be out of 50 and 40% of each series exam will be taken as internal marks and 10 marks for assignments. Then the university exam is out of 100. There will be exams for labs as well. Faculty

4.5

The faculty of the college is well educated. Most of them have Ph.D. and doctorate. They very helpful and supportive. But it may vary from branch to branch. The principal is so talented to bring the college to another level in case of academics. But everyone is so supportive in case of education-related matter

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.
