Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good according to the relevance in today's date. They want us to know the basics. I had interest in computers and hence I chose this course. Also it's easy in comparison to other BTech degrees. The curriculum prepares us well for the real world applications because they want us to do the mini projects every semester for different subjects. The areas of improvement can be teaching the basics as well as the current things used. Exam frequency is every 4 months with mid sems between them
Internships Opportunities
Internships are offered in your TY and last year. The stipend depends on the company and your skills. Also the roles. A lot of my friends are doing internships for free while others are doing it for 3k, 4k, 7, 10 upto 20 thousand. It goes higher but they demand a lot more skill set
Placement Experience
You became eligible for campus placement in your 4th year. A number of companies visit every year, start-ups included. Highest package was around 51LPA last year from Google. The average package changes every year. My plan after the degree is masters
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fee is increasing every year for new students. I don't know about the complete cost but the tution fee is 3 lakh 10 thousand. The hostel is optional and I didn't opt for it. The mess is optional too which is around 7-10 thousand per year. You can stay in flats with your friends to save money
Campus Life
There are a lot of fests in college. Both technical and cultural, there are times every week there's a new fest. A lot of good Books available in Library. The classrooms and labs are well well equipped with presentation boards and pcs. Lot of social groups
Admission
You need over 60% in your PCM. A good score in your jee mains for CSE. You can find the application form on the MITWPU official website. I don't know about the reservation as it's private university. The exam difficulty is average
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is good. In class it's 1:60 but not everyone attends lecture. Let's be real so at most 40 people do. In practical it's 1:20. So it's easy for you to get the attention of the teacher of you attend classes. Almost every faculty is a PhD also they teach great so as long as you pay attention you'll understand all the concepts. I do interact with teachers on frequent basis as they're approachable
