The curriculum helps us to prepare very effectively due to continuous lab assessment and helpful faculties.The are of improvement is only in some theory classes where teachers only come and use to read the ppt only and they do not try to make us understand

From 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placement.Highest package is 9 lakhs and average is 5 lakhs .80 percent of students are always placed.My plan is to get a job and do the rest for company and family

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is affordable and also TFW option is available which is positive side of this college. Talking about scholarships ,it is biased as TFW students can't get scholarships.Campus Employment is good enough as almost every students get placement

Campus Life

Annual and campus festival is not organised every year due to faculty members. Huge range of books and journals are available in library and they are also easy to access as we have to go to the library, pick up the desire book or journal,show the library card .

Admission

You must have to appear for either WBJEE or JEE Main exam . Application form can be filled by going to college.Reservation is only available for TFW candidates and SC,ST & OBC candidates.The frequency of exam is too high but timings are good

Faculty

They are qualified and their languages are easy to understand. Their behaviour towards students is also very good.Their efforts are appreciable and the way they teach is too smooth. They are always reachable and helpful.

IIT KGP: The kgpian way

Placement Experience:

4 yr btech students are eligible for cdc internship from the starting of their 3rd yr(5th sem) and for placement 7th sem. 5 yr dual degree students are eligible for cdc internship from the starting of 4th yr(7th sem) and for placement 9th sem. So many different profile companies came for placements like amazon, google, ibm, apple, l&t, wipro, infosys, texas intrument, etc. Highest package was 3cr and average is about 20-25 lakhs. Insightful Review - Revealing about campus life and academics.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from 7th semeter. Companies visited till now are : tejes - 9lpa, keysite - 7lpa, streebo - 5lpa and a few other product based companies with average pakage offered about 3lpa. Higest pakage - salesforce (32 lpa) off campus, keysite (7lpa) on campus. Last year 60% of total students from final year got placed. My plans is to purusue a higher degree as placement scene of your college is not that great and also i have intrest in ai/ml so i want to study future and dive more deep into its concepts

The course curriculum is not that different from other colleges. At the beginning or 1 st semester we are made to complete the bridge course which basically includes stuff we read in classes 11 and 12. But then also they can't teach properly the already read topics.

I applied to plenty of state engineering colleges and only made it to UIT, BU which has awful facilities and a good ragging culture. So I opted out and went to a private college. Among private colleges, as far as I know, WB, IEM and Heritage are considered to be better. IEM's strict uniform code, zero campuses made me choose Heritage over IEM. The admission process is 1) Through West Bengal Joint counselling, which I went through, 2) Management Quota. I have also applied in other states college like satyabhama of Chennai by giving the entrance and JEE mains for NIT and IIT and I have also give the webjee exam my score is quite good and and I have chosen this college over other colleges because of its number one college in the West Bengal and it have quite good campus comparison to others West Bengal colleges. My JEE score was not that good and my webjee score is quiet good so I prefer the college that is best comes with my score.
