Likes

Friends ,In Mechanical department all are equal.
There is no groupism or other things among them and also seniors are helpful
Some teachers are very good at teaching for teaching in a government college i will recommend bartonhill

Dislikes

Mainly Principal ,she is like a private school tr
She will not approve any kind of fests etc
Also very rude in attendance So that many students are disappointed

Course Curriculum Overview

I always want to take mechanical engineering course and I got it in Government college ,So that i can study without big amount of money,As it is KTU we are now studying 2019 scheme and the syllabus is changing and our juniors will study the new scheme and also working days for studying is also small

Internships Opportunities

I think there are internships but i Dont many know about it ,But some seniors are doing there own companies here all are becoming great engineers not only academics they are actually increasing there skillss

I am still studying and only 1st year so I dont know about thatmuch.But teachers are saying that here placements will come mostly any IT companys and mechanical engineering will also get in It companies etc

Fees and Financial Aid

We all know about youtube,I also study in Youtube we can enjoy college with our friends and then for studying Youtube is best,For tution fee it is lowerr than other private and management colleges.There are several scholarships also

Campus Life

That is the main problem because of principal we cant get festivals.Library is good all students will go there Sports is also good there are many teams like cricket volleyball also encourages womens etc

Hostel Facilities

Histel fees only about 2000 to 3000 and also mess food is good its like trivandrum style so that trivians can eat properly but some other fellows cant eat properly beacause of the change in taste.I am talking about college hostel and there is only ladies hostel no hostel for mens

Hostel Fee: INR 2500 per year

Admission

Here admission process is good.For some reasons i got there late but teachers are kind and allowed me to complete the process,if you are general caste then have to get rank below 7k,then only get here

Teachers are very supportive,They will give us notes and if there are any doubts we can contact them,they will clear the doubts.So that i Can recomend we would get nice teaching,They are friendly.All are very strict for study some are kind,thats all

from semister 6 students become eligible for campus placements and companies loke bank of america , google microsoft etc visited for campus placements and the highest package is about 54 lakhs where as average is 11 lakhs and about 98% of the students are placed

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Average student experience at amrita

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

G.E.C. PALAMU : A. Brief Overview .

Actually I applied in Chandigarh University , KIIT , SRM, and Quantum University . I even. Done the formalities of Quantum University but when the result of JCECEB COUNSELING came I took decision to take admission in this college as for now I think my decision is good . This college first of all government aided which provides a way better option than other private colleges which I opted for . Also this college might not compare with the other private colleges which I mentioned in so called renowned facilities but still we can get all basic facilities here . And all the above the fees here is very much affordable as compared to all the colleges which I mentioned in my list . Means all your engineering course will be completed in about 5 lakhs . which is very much less as compared to even NIT and IIT. For admission you have to give either jee mains or you can give JCECEB exam but you have to sit in JCECEB COUNSELING to get this college .all information you will get from the youtube about the councelling...Read More
