Course Curriculum Overview
I always wanted to become a software Engineer. Because this institution is affiliated with Uttrakhand Technical University my degree is also valid outside India. College prepares us more for the real world. But the college should focus more on labs than on books. Overall it is good. But the exams are a little bit tough.
Internships Opportunities
Various companies give internship opportunities to students in this college, and roles like web developer, HR, and many more are provided to the interns. Some of the internships are unpaid while some are paid internships which gives good stipends to the interns.
Placement Experience
The placement facility of the college is very good. Students studying in the 6th semester are also eligible for the campus placement. More than 100 companies visit for the campus placement. Companies like Wipro, IBM, Times of India, HP, and many more. The average package is 6 lakhs per annum and the highest package is 36 lakh. Almost 80% of students got placed. One can also do startup after the course completion.
Fees and Financial Aid
In comparison to other colleges, fees are not much. The Tuition fee increases up to 5-6% every 2 or 3 years. The complete cost of my college fees is 1 lakh 45 thousand including exam fees and other compulsory charges. The college provides several Government scholarships and also it is applicable for the BIHAR STUDENT CREDIT CARD. The college also conducts several programs like Hackathons and the winners get prizes.
Campus Life
There are various fest held in college like the annual fest named Sanskriti which is held in April, the technical fest named Utkrisht held in November, also national level hackathon held in April, and the Innovate and Evaporate hackathon held in March. Every student who participated in the programs got a certificate. Every classroom has a projector. The college also has many sports clubs and also organizes inter-college sports match and the winners also get prizes. there are various clubs run by students like footloose, Public relation, Manchan, NSs, and manymore.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms in the hostel are fully furnished having two beds, two tables , and two chairs, and two cupboards. Also, single bedrooms are available in the hostel. There are two types of Rooms available in the hostel AC and Non AC. The food is not Tasty. You will get 4 times meals including Breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner. You have to register for hostel while your admission process. The hostel is affordable, and safe ,also the staffs and warden are friendly and caring.
Admission
The eligibility criteria depend on the course you have chosen. The eligibility criteria for the Btech course is, that you have completed your 12th from science with maths. You can find the application form, application fees, and application dates on the official website of the college. The college will conduct its exams for admission or you have to attend the JEE examination for admission in BTECH. The questions are little bit difficult .
Faculty
There are almost 200+ faculty members in the college. Every faculty member is supportive and friendly. They always help us whenever they are free. The teachers are highly educated in their respective fields. They teach us with all their energy and are always ready to solve our doubts.
