Course Curriculum Overview

The course is very good , you would be given a introduction to all language like Java, cpp, python. Also will be given introduction to web development only front end.mysql will be taught only basics. DSA will be taught but not to great depth, that are like just introduction to data structures. This curriculum gives a basic intro , but I don't think a normal student or a average student who cannot learn technologies by themselves get benefitted by this. Only if you are very good at academics they get better at technologies. Difficulty level of exams is almost equal to NIT's Almost Every 2 weeks , exams are conducted like quizes, Lab tests etc .mid sems in every 1-1.5 months.

Fees and Financial Aid

For Every new batch the college fees increase.i belong to 2020 batch , it was almost near 400000 per annum but it has now increased to almost 600000 per annum. I don't have much idea about scholarships but when you take admission, based on the score you get in Amrita entrance exam, you get some discount in fees, they call it scholarship.But the remaining years fees depends upon your performance in the semester results.

Campus Life

Overall experience was okay.I always wanted to improve my coding skills but there no scope from college side, i had to take up takeyouforward course by striver which was .I am still working on it. there is a library with a range of books from fictional to journals to non-fictional you can borrow books.

Admission

Admission process depends on particular branch , your intermidate marks, 10th class marks, jee rank and the rank you get in the Amrita University exam. Anyone who have 75% above in both 10th and 12th are eligible. Amrita Exam is conducted every year.

Faculty

Faculty here are , good .Few of the professors are highly qualified, some are from nits and iits. But you need to reach out to them to collaborate. Only if you get to those good top notch professors you will learn. You can interact with them anytime, they are free. Classroom Teaching is good but you could always refer to the ppts and PDFs given by the teachers that would be enough to get good marks in exam.

Good College with Supportive Faculty and Decent Placements

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Nitte: My review on my college

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

About my college

Placement Experience:

After completion of the course students are divided to teachers and the food industries are come to college and interview us and the student is eligible they can select. Some standard food related companies are visited nestle, ITC mysore , sulawines and some other companies also. The CGPA of the students is 7.5 or more is good below this also get selected but more than 7.5 is good. My plan is after completion of course then do work and get some experience in the industries and some of the time I am going to select a product and launch it over the world.

They start conducting placements activities from the 2nd year itself like AMCAT preparation, skillrack, etc. So the students become eligible for campus placements from 7th sem itself. Many companies like TCS, Diggibyte, Zoho,etc. and the offers are from 3 lakh to 16 lakh per annum. Percentage of students getting placements are about 90% My plan is to get into the IT sector as i have an interest to explore and enhance my technical skills

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.

MIT Bengaluru-The College Beyond Exxpectations

Placement Experience:

Students here are eligible for placements or internships right after the 3rd year. Mit Bengaluru is planning to make its students placement merging with its parent clg Mit Manipal. Currently none of the placement record is there as the first batch is in 3rd year only.None of the companies have visited for placement b ut companies like IBM, TCS do come for their talks. I have no plans as of now what will I do after a degree.

My life in Amrita as an Undergraduate

I applied to PESU in bengaluru, i wanted CSE but got into ECE so i chose AI and DS in Amrita over ECE in PESU. Also fees was lesser in Amrita compared to PESU. I wanted to apply for MIT, bangalore but since the college was very far and the fees was huge i diidnt apply, plus i already got into amrita by then. And since i am from bangalore and didnt want to leave the place i didnt try for colleges outside of bangalore. The admission process for my college is either through the entrance exam conducted by them which is AEEE or through JEE. I got in through JEE since it was better than my AEEE score. with a rank below 3k students might get into slab 1 for any course if they are from bangalore due to local quota....Read More

I have applied for gitam University in banglore I got seat but the fees is very high and when I checked thoroughly there are no placements so I have left and joined other college which I got seat.
