The curriculum is very good as it goes to in depth concepts very clearly and deeply . At the same time it is designed in such a way that students get an overall idea of what is happening inside a concept and it helps students to prepare for higher studies and competitive exams effectively. The areas where course curriculum can improve is bringing in more practical approach in syllabus like hands on work etc. Exams do take place at correct dates and they are moderately difficult.

Companies approach the college for campus placement from the beginning of final year of the course. Major companies are tcs Infosys wipro etc . The average package is 450000 per annum . Although as of now demand for engineers is low therefore placements are comparatively less . Therefore the percentage of students got placed this year is very less compared to 80% last year . My plan is to go for higher studies after this degree.

The tuition fee includes 9650 rs per year and it will not be increased as it is constant . But there can be fluctuations in other funds like pta fund mess bill etc. Somewhere around 60000 should cover yhe total college fees for 4 years in this college and mess bill would be around 2-3k per month . There are many scholarships like mcm e grantz etc whicu provide fee concession to the minorities and backward castes .

There are not much technical fests held in this college . The main fest that is held is IEEE explore which is supposed to happen every 2 years . There are many books available in the library for almost all subjects . Sports and extracurricular activities get a very good support here in this college as there is good and well equipped sports room and good grounds and play area for all major sports . There are many clubs in the college such as ieee iste gdsc etc which are very helpful in making students network with each other and connect with people outside .

Hostel room is well equipped with an individual desk and chair for all inmates of the room . It has good ventilation and lighting and has 2 fans in each room . The food quality is good with the menu including non veg like chicken and beef for 4-5 times a week . Hostel is very affordable with 2-3k permonth as the messbill . Registration is done on the basis of distance from home to college and entrance examination rank .

To be eligible for this course a student needs to pass KEAM entrance examination with a certain rank for each category. The rank cutoff may vary each year depending on the choices made by students across the state.The exam occurs in june every year and application form can be availed in keam website.

There is very much qualified faculty in the cs department of this college and there are ample teachers so that every subjects have a specialised teacher . The teachers are very friendly and can be approached any time for doubt clarifications . Extra classes etc . Teaching method is very subtle and effective .
