Course Curriculum Overview

Bachelor of Life Science is my course. My target was this course only because i was not sure about honours courses, and this course include all of three botany, zoology and chemistry. We give semester wise exams.

DU college are known for their number of societies in different field which are chiefly run by the senior students of bachelor's. These help the freshers to make the best out of their potential in co circular activities and to attain the balance between academics and unacademic life . Mamy companies often come to visit our college eg - physics wallah ,make my trip and many more . The highest package offered was 51 lakhs per annum aftet graduation.

Placement Experience

I do not have that much idea about placements, but highest foreign package was 51 LPA. And average packages from my college is 8.4 LPA. Packages of Bcom and stats courses are good. I would say our college holds good place in placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees of my course is 14000 for a year. I would say it is good amount a year. Scholarships are provided according to your rank. Have many Internship opportunities. Internships are provided on college and university level.

Campus Life

North campus is known for its exciting campus life. Oustider people also come to visit this campus especially hudson lane ,kamla nagar ,Sudama chaai and many other points too. DU is also quite famous for its fest season which runs for about a month. The fest were well manged ,colleges were decorated beautifully and our favourites artists were invited. Our college offers various sports and intercollege competitions are also held. The night life of campus often comprises of clubs in which free entry is there for students so that students can enjoy at minimum budget. DU has provided the best path for me to explore the college life.

Admission

To get admission in Delhi University, one need to sit in CUET examination by selecting your Core courses of class 12th alongwith Languageand gemeral test. After that, you have to register in CSAS portal.

Faculty

I am not sure about the faculty to student ratio, but i would say we have enough professors, assistant professor and associate professors, alongwith them we have lab attendent and mentors. Our faculty is best, providing quality education, regular classes are taken and workshops are held in a interval of time with interactive sessions.

The students become eligible for placements after second year or even third year. Companies like Google, Deloitte, KPMG, HDFC Bank, Maruti Suzuki, McKinsey, etc visited our college for placements and recieved over 200 placement offers in the latest year 2025. Highest package of Hindu College is 36.5 LPA and the average package is 11.4 LPA. Hindu College has a high placement rate of 95% of eligible students securing a placement here. My plan is to prepare for UPSC or SSC-CGL after my degree.

I chose it over others since it's the only north campus college with a good reputation and name providing Political Science Honours other than Hindu college , I preferred Hindu over it but due to inadequate marks I couldn't qualify for Hindu . And being a male limits my scope of availing colleges like Miranda House or LSR . My journey at Kirori Mal college

Ok so I have a whole journey of my admission process . In the first round of my allocation i got confirmed admission in hansraj college for history hons then I applied for upgradation n then I got miranda house for same course but I was not happy with my course n then in round 3 under cw category I got pol science hons in kmc college I know I have already got good colleges in initial round but for my preferred course I decided to sacrifice my colleges . The admission process of kmc is quite smooth like within half of a day I got my admission confirmed there n even after coming late they reopen their erp portal for choosing different papers for those students who got upgradation in later rounds ....Read More

My Experience at KMC

I applied to ipmat program of iim indore which is a tough exam as it offers ba+mba in iim indore and pursuing mba from iim indore is one of the best thing that a student can pursue, i cleared cutoff of short answer and mcqs but couldnt clear the cutoff of english which is surprising for me also, A student have to appear for cuet examination and clear the cutoff in order to get admission in KMC, cutoff for general was around 740 in first round for mathematics honours and exams accepted was english, maths and 2 other domain subject...Read More
