Likes

The teachers are very qualified and educated atleast from the 2nd year
There is a good balance of studies and extra curicular activities.

Dislikes

After the college has become autonomous ,it has become very hectic.
The minimum 75% attendence criteria makes it difficult to make time for other activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

We still mostly follow the MU syllabus, it covers all the basic topics of CS and IT field but it is still very far away from the real world applications. There are two exams in a semester : Mid Term and End Sem Exam ,both are of medium difficulty.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

If you belong to the general quota, you will have to pay 1.25 lakh fee per year ,there are few scholarships available for EBC .The main fee reduction is provided by Maha-dbt for EBCs which reduces the fee by 50%.

Campus Life

The Infrastructure is very limited. There are many cultural and technical fests throughout the year. There is also sports events every semester. The library is very good in terms of the range of books available.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel process registration is on first come first serve basis. The hostel provides AC rooms but they are very expensive .Hostel as a whole is very expensive ,it can cost up to 2-2.5 lakh per year due to this most of the out of station students live in rented rooms after first year.

Hostel Fee: INR 200000 per year

Admission

Most of the information related to admission can be found on the colleges' website. The college gives admission according to your score in MHT-CET and college does not has its own entrance exam .The admission process was smooth

Faculty

There are 70 students ina class, most teachers ignore the students that are not paying attention in class. All teachers are qualified in their jobs but you have to pay attention to them to get the best out of it. If you seek advice from your faculty in any kind of problem you will get a solution to it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.
