Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

First the faculty and internship is one thing that is good hear as well as the monthly seminars , and also the mentored seminar really boosts the confidence and prepares for dissertation but one thing they can improve is recruit more teachers as the number of student is increasing and about exam there is midterm of 20 marks , finals of 50 , mentored seminar each sem 100 marks and class assignemts and ppt

Fees and Financial Aid

They will provide you with scholarship there are different scholarahip schemes 2023 admission the whole fees was 223000 but with 100% it was 9300 per sem , maybe each batch they increase they provide with internships 2 to 3 places but yes about employment in psychology department there is really no such employment that college provide after masters but one good thing is in your desertation if its good the teachers help them to get published and also encourage difference research ideas and also qualitative research

Campus Life

2.5

There are several clubs but I usually do not see various club involvements so there is no formal procedure of getting involved or notice various departments performance mainly program occurs departmental but that is also not always cultural programs allowed , but the media and English department and performing arts do organize various impressive programs

Admission

There was usual min marks of 55% , admission process was done in 2 days as they also need various documents and parents signature and all since I was in general I only got scholarship in graduation marks probably from 70 to 85 % marks in grad they provide 25 % and above 85 100 % but some amount need to be paid for bag and dress fee

Faculty

4

From this year there was an increase in admission it was 112 , so 2 sections were there each of around 60 students thus 1 faculty 60 students , it didn't effect much on studying but during practical it was really a bit conjuction to manage though they have proper equipments but since it was 112 students we had to form semigroups within 3 groups per section and perform practical .otherwise the teaching is nice specially the HOD is very supportive. Some make ppts using pictures , some teach from books some provide materials

Course Curriculum Overview:

If the student is quite serious to go for a PHD after completing his MSc from here, I would say it is a great choice but if one is looking for the option to explore some other field after completing his MSc from here, I wouldn't recommend of getting a degree from here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus structure of KU is totally based on the IIT JAM exam syllabus. That helps students very much in future preparation for Ph.D. Also KU offers special classes for competitive exam preparations including SPSC or UPSC as well as helps to get placements in the private sector. And professors are very highly qualified they can teach this syllabus in depth and with care

I took admission in this college in neuroscience with an aspiration to do something in this field as my father suffered from brain stroke 2 times. The curriculum is quite vast and regardless of the fact that a sem should take place after every 6 months this institute wrap up the syllabus in 3 months and expect us to do well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The program curriculum encompasses Biological Sciences as well as it could have been. It is very elaborate comprising every branches from Instrumemtation and Methodologies to Cell Biology, Genetics or Molecular Biology for that matter. You are ought to have three theory papers and two practical and Grand VIVA papers each semester with a total of 4 semesters over two years. In the last semester, you need to prepare your dissertation. The papers include all the basic concepts and their applications and demands hard hours. I believe the syllabus can be relaxed a bit and the number of papers per term expanded and compartmentalised so as to reduce the load of individual papers. All the faculties are very supportive and Friendly and appreciate doubts and queries always.
