Likes

I liked the campus of our university. Teachers are very cooperative.
Practical exposures are also there to create positive results and for better understanding of the subject.
Lab is very good. We can do practicals very fruitfully.

Dislikes

Timings of exams. Non engaging to more internships
Rapid decisions are taken. No discussions with students
Internships and placements are very low in number. Admin block members are also not proper.

Course Curriculum Overview

Actually psychology is a very interesting subject. I myself have developed many such beneficial skills from this course. I start to explore myself. I view people with the things that i have learned till now. I try to apply it socially. Eager to learn more and create a greater impact in society

Internships Opportunities

Our department gives less internships than required in bachelors. In Masters, also there are less placements. They need to work upon them more and about the opportunities also. Research works are done . Lack of many faculties results in low growth.

Fees and Financial Aid

For the Applied Psychology course, we have to give 32000 in each semester. And this is a 4 yrs course. There are also scolarships which are provided by the college itself, like Sarvodya Scolarships, government scolarships include - Swami Vivekananda Scolarships ( SVMCM) .

Campus Life

There are many such clubs like - music club, dance club, painting club, sports club, extracurricular skills club etc. There areany grounds, basketball ground etc. Library is well furnished. Librarians behavior should be rectified. Environment is good.

Admission

Admission process was good. Only the admin block members are need to be cooperative more. Infrastructure need to be taken seriously. Students opinions should matter. Decision making should be done more carefully

Faculty

Departmental teachers are very frank and cooperative with students. If a student is facing any issue regarding study, they are always there to help them. Better not to give priority to personal connections.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was well-structured, and each semester, there were projects and presentations that also helped to test our knowledge. I got influenced as the curriculum provides us with financial economics, political economics, and Applied mathematics. The level of the exams was decent, related to the course. They could improve in teaching more practical knowledge and projects related to that, instead of only learning in a theoretical way.

Placement Experience:

Placements and job oppurtinities are less since this is an undergraduate college offwering honours degree. Though there is a placement and career councelling cell that looks over this matter. Placements are offered only in a few subjects, such as industrial chemisrty and computer science. The rate of placements are very high and come with high packages. Though I am not interested in placements, but I have started taking preparations for compititive exams. Such preparations are very supported here, rather than jobs and placements.

Admission can be taken here only after completing higher secondary from a legitimate institution. This college has its own website on Google, from there the admission process can be completed. One can sit for the final semester exam by taking the two main tests of each semester. I have no idea about improving the admission process...Read More

Overall it was a smooth process. But there were many areas were they gave me misinformations like the course has been updated to 4 years but they gave me a bonafide of 3 years and i came to know it after my loan was passed. They also told me there would be 24 x 7 wifi serivice were they didnt mention that it was only for laptops. So these are some of the misinformation they gave me....Read More
