- Infrastructure is very good , The class rooms are very newly built the NAB.
- Labs are very well maintained, all the equipments are there.
- Connectivity to railway station and bus stand is very well.
Dislikes
- Hostel are pretty descent put require maintainnance.
- Medical unit is not that well equipped and require huge upgradation.
- Not giving enough opportunities to interact with the seniors in first year.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is fair. The exams timings are good only mid sems and end sems only occur.So we have enough time to study before the exams and also have enough time to brush our skills.The exams difficulty level varry as per the subjects but it is moderate to though.
Internships Opportunities
Intership opportunities are available in forms of on campus intership in the summer and the students form the third year become capable of sitting in the intership interviews. The intership opportunities are good enough and many companies like Microsoft and JP Morgan etc hire from in campus internships.
Placement Experience
We have good intership opportunities from 3 Rd year. The placements are well and the average packages offered are also good. But due to the recession every other college is affected so as nit dgp. The placements for this year has fallen by a fair margin.But the overall placement has been fair.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no much scholarship plan for you if you are not in ews or any other reserved category.Some central and few state government scholarships are although present. Again for reserved categories and ews the tution fees are waived to a affordable limit.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is good and the classeomms are well furnished. The various clubs in the college organize a variety of events throughout the year. BOTH Technical and Cultural events are organised by the various clubs. The two annual events of the college are Recstacy and Aroohan .The former is cultural event and the rarer is the Technical event. Both occur in the time of spiring one after another.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms are pretty decent. The availability for drinking water is also good . The bathrooms and every hostel room is cleaned day to day. The mess food is below average.But as per hostel standards of other hostels it is at par good level. The menu has good variety including the various cusines of the different states of India.
Admission
You have to score well in jee mains to enter the college.The Jossa councelling is the method through which the addmission s are done. After giving jee mains we have to sit for Jossa councelling and the csab councelling. After getting the seat in Jossa councelling the rest process is given in the nit dgp official site.
Faculty
The student to teacher ratio is good enough for btech students.The batch is divided into sections for increasing the student to teacher ratio.The teachers are very well qualified and teaches well.You can interact with your teachers even after college hours in case of any academic problem.
