our faculty is good enough, and professor's are supportive they are highly educated , takes classes daily no day off literally
our library is best you can get all kind of books there and the best part is there are some hard and fast rules you have to maintain while you are there like you have to be silent and you can't take books from outside etc.
Our college hosts diverse cultural fests, guest lectures, workshops, and social events so ya this is good

Dislikes

in case of sports our college don't supports us that much even our ground is not that much in size that students can play football or cricket 9 a side
there are some small politics gets happen here not like straight forward like it is in a sudo way in everything.. but it's reality, in future we all have to face this kind of things in office so ya not that good
our canteen is not good students use to take food from home and as it's owner is from a marwadi family, so just veg allowed in canteen and the price range is so much high and quality of food and variety is not that good still

like including the tuition feeswe have to pay our college 46,100 so it's high in rate but most important things is time. a student must have some time for self-study but during this college life we do many kinds of experiments in our life it can be any project or to being a private tutor, etc

annual fest and the tech fest is very nice and in every semester the students from each department they organise some events like those are helpful for coding and it's fun and there was a popular event happened some months back it was about business so name i can't remember but i can assure you that in this thing our college is good

Admission

it's like depends on result, but for me, my rank was 33583 in webjee, pretty bad, but I still got in it but there is a story of seat booking they took 20k nonrefundable for seat booking, then i got cse-, but I changed my mind and again i tried in the mop-up round, and that time i selected it and luckily I'm now in it

the ratio is 13:70 13 professors and rest students like Mr. Sachin Balo Ms. Anwesa Das Mr. Sougata Dey Mr. Priyanath Mahanti Ms. Jayanti Mahata These are best faculty in our college, with good experience

A comprehensive review of MAKAUT , WB

Placement Experience:

from 6/7 th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Infosys visited with around 22-23 offers , Cognizant visited with arount 15-16 offers , TCS visited with several offers(not sure how many) , that's it the big names. Apart from these small startups and companies visited too. Highest package offered was 11lpa by TCS , 9.6lpa by infosys, 6.48lpa by Cognizant. Profiles were ASE in TCS , PAT in CTS , SET in Infosys. The percentage of students placed was less arount 30-40% , mostly because the curriculum lacks placement prep. I have joined Cognizant as a Programmer Analyst Trainee after graduating .

For many programs placemnet preparation sactivities such as aptitude training, soft skills development, resume building, mock interviews begin earlier, you can say that these activities are incoporated from the 1st semester itself. COMAPINES VISIT: Several reowned and reputed compaines from IT, management,healthcare,media, and core sectors visits the university for campus recruitment. Placement drive include companines from domains such as software services, consulting,education,sales digital marketing etc. For my domain CSE AIML companies like Infosys,Amazon,Cognizant,Adobe etc visits. Each year multiple students receive job offers through campus drives and some students also secure multiple offers depending on their skills and performance. HIGHEST AND AVERAGE PACKAGE OFFERED: The highest package offered varies by course and recruiter and also with top performing students receive highest packages based on their role requirements and skills. It range from 12 LPA to 45 LPA. The average package offered to students is competitive for a private university and aligns with industry standards for entry level roles. These generally range from 3.5 to 8 LPA. PRECENTAGE OF STUDENTS GETTING PLACED: Placement outcome mostlky depend on academic performance, attendance, communication skills, technical knowledge, and participation in training sessions. The placement cell of my college is very strong.From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements.There are around 50 companies visited in the college such as TCS,Intel. Microsft. Deloitte,etc.205 students are placed in TCS in year 2019. 415 students are placed in campus placement last year. Maximum CTC was 25 lacs/pa and average CTC was 5.5 lacs/pa previous year.After Jadhavpur University,the average CTC of the college is higher than IEM. Above 95% placements for IT,CSE and ECE students.There are around 55-60% placements in other department.My plans are doing some great things after getting the degree.

MCKVIE, a good college for its price

I applied for admission in many colleges like Siliguri Institute of technology, Heritage Institute of technology, Techno Main Salt Lake, Calcutta Institute of Engineering and management. (Through management quota) From the above, I got a confirmed admission in CIEM(Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management) but i later opted for WBJEE Counseling to try my luck there. I put many colleges in My WBJEE preference list. It's very fortunate that I found out about MCKVIE at the last moment as it was a very good college considering its low price. From the colleges that i opted for both in counseling and management quota... most colleges were too expensive for me, or i was not able to get the desired course. MCKVIE was very suitable as I got CSE with a semester-wise tuition fees of around 55k. The admission process of my college was fairly systematic, I got Core CSE through WBJEE Counseling and got my seat throught WBJEE+JEE Rank. Overall admission experience was a bit lengthy process because it involved the Counseling procedures, but it was smooth and the officials were helpful and well prepared for all kinds of inconveniences...Read More
