Likes

The campus life is so good .The college provides with so much facilities with different machineries and demonstration of different concepts.
The teachers are so good and so much interactive and supportive to students and there talents

Dislikes

I think the physical education department is little weak in the college
The placements over the colleges are less compared to the previous years

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is good .Mechanical engineering curriculam is so good that it offers so much hand on experience compared to any other departments and that provides with so many practical labs .The exam comes very frequantly which reduces the difficults when it comes to the final semester exam

Class Size : 80Course Fees : INR 600000 per year

Placement Experience :

The placements are good in oru college .Some of core companies comes for hireing but the placement this year is less compared to the previous years.The college provides with maximum oppertunities.most of the placements are now fpr computer departments

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college provides all scholorships that the government had issued for the students.Basic fee structure comes like around 6lakhs with all the expenses .Must understand all the details from the office about the scholarships .The placements are good but on this year it is a little less compared to previous years.

Campus Life :

The campus life on adi shankara is good and the college atmosphere id great.The college has so many clubs including NSS in which so much achievements have been made .and so many other clubs like BIS,rangers and rovers etc are there .The infrastructure is so good it is so calm out there

Hostel Facilities :

The college have boys hostel inside the college campus and the girls hostel outside the college.The college hostel is good with 3 persons in a room .The food menu is vegetarian and contains common south indian food like idali,dosa etc,the hostel fee comes like 50K year which varies with scholorships .You can rent houses near college or stay as a PG near the college there are so many places near

Hostel Fee : INR 50000 per year

Admission :

The exam you have to pass is the KEAM exam which will give you allotment .Here is the options on taking management seat but have to give more money than government allotted seat but for that also have to write keam exam .The admission process is simple the staffs will guide you in every steps

Faculty :

The facultys are so much good and skilled .They are so much supportive for all the need and the skills we have .The facultys are very good in teaching and the way of interation is very superb.They are so much supportive that they would give all the instructions for any problems and show us the way

Campus is choosen wisely

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually the university curriculum is bit old fasion.Like the technology is a way head of the things that we are studying in the sessions.But the basis are well learned from it.The improvement we need in that is that to get out of the instituion as a proffesional that can handle the new technolgy that the real world work in.The curriculum is need to improve so much as per the technology improves the students want to know what all changes that are happening in the real world and they want to be trained according to that.

My Journey at MITS

Placement Experience:

Our campus placement will begin from 7th semester. From 5th semester onwards college will provide training for placements and we have placement cell for this. An average LPA of 5 is provided from our college. Good amount of companies visit our campus for placement and we also get oppertunity to go for off campus placement

Placement Experience:

In the 7th and 8th semesters, the students become eligible for campus placements. Infosys, and Spyridian, are the companies that often come for placements .3 -4 lakhs is the highest package given by these companies.The percentage of students getting placement is about 50-70. My plan is to go for higher studies or to go for a job.

SEEING STCET THROUGH MY VISION

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards we could attend placement interviews and many companies used to approach our college but mostly IT companies as I was in civil dept the construction companies were very less or NIL. In our batch, most of the students got placed and many offer letters but the only disadvantage was the offers were not from the core companies.
