- Due to small number of students in college, professor focus on individual students more so it increases their teaching capacity as professor know names of almost all students an slowly know them personally that's a great benefit for development of
- Students. Moreover due to overall less strength of college,students also know almost every other student and it is very beneficial for students social life.Those who love to travel there are a lot of places nearby as college is situated in mountains
- For students who want to pursue electronic and want to further work in VLSI, its very good as most of the expensive softwares like tcad and cadence are available here in labs.
Dislikes
- Campus of college is very small so you are in loss on campus basis and won't have a late night campus life. Town is small so most of famous brands like KFC, Dominos are not available and the town even lacks a movie theatre
- Clubs don't work in our college and placements are only given to capable students
Course Curriculum Overview
Syllabus and curriculum is according to latest syllabus introduces by the government according to National Education Policy 2020. Institute has highly trained and professional professors and are from reputed national level institutes and some of them have their post doctorate from international level institutes. There are highly equipped and managed laboratories with industry relevant softwares.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are good even if you not get paid internship you can easily get an internship at an IIT with the help of professor recommendation In 3 or 4 year you get opportunities of paid internship at any company or IIT
Placement Experience
From 7 semester students are eligible for campus placement and internship opportunities Many companies like NVIDIA, Samsung and Intel visit campus offer packages between 10 to 25 lakhs Almost 50% students get placed in campus
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure is dependent based on family income of students if family income is below 1 lakh students have to pay only hostel and mess fee If family income is between 1 lakh to 5 lakh then students have to pay ? of tuition fee in addition to hostel and mess fee If family income is above 5 lakh then students have to pay full tuition fees in addition to hostel and mess fee. You can also apply for government scholarship in addition to this fee remission Campus employment opportunities are not that much available
Campus Life
Campus is small and there is not much of campus life . Books and journals are available in library Classroom contains projectors and boards as well as ACs Sports facilities are okay -okay And club are not that much active
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility are good and cheap here if you get accomodation at new hostels Mess food is not good here Registration of hostel is done during the admission process and is quite affordable and cheap. You have to opt for mess if you have opted for hostel there is no choice of hostel without mess
Admission
Admission are only done onthe basis of Joint entrance examination (mains).you need a sufficiently good percentile to take admission if you belong to general category There is 50% reservation for home state students And other reserved seats for SC/ST/OBC and girls
Faculty
There are 12 faculty members and 36 students in every year so ratio is very good. Most of the faculties have completed their phd from prestigious national level institutes like Indian institute of Technology, Roorkee. Faculty of the institute are interactive to the students and have good approach to the concepts and also uses other interactive methods for teaching.
