Our faculty is very good, they are always helpful towards the students, they have guided us very well throughout our first and second semester hopefully they will be quite helpful in future as well
Our university's overall environment is calm and good and the professors teach us very well and helped us to adapt in this new environment from school to college
There are many things that you can do in our college many extra curricular activities are held here

Course Curriculum Overview

I'm very much liking the course I'm doing right now. I was a bit hesitant at first with my choice of choosing this course but after joining my college I absolutely felt comfortable with the course I'm doing. The teachers help us to understand all the subjects very clearly and easily which helps us a lot

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 23150 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

According to a private college our college's fees is pretty much affordable. Per semester our fees is 23150 which we have to continue to give till our last semester and our total course fees is 185000 or something which can be managed to afford

Campus Life

Our campus is very beautiful and large one of the main attraction of our university and overall environment of our university is very peaceful and friendly. Books and journals are very accessible in our library. Smart projector are available in our classroom but there are no ac installed in the classroom. We have a basketball court in our college campus and there several other clubs like theatre clubs, fashion shows are held, dance and many events are held where students can participate or enjoy as an audience

Admission

Admission process was pretty smooth they have executives from the university who will call the applicants and help them throughout the admission process. For eligibility you have to atleast score 60 percent and above then you can easily get admission over here. You have to give an online test or a written test then you will attend an interview where councilling of the applicant will happen

Faculty

Our English department's faculty members are very good. They guided us very well as we freshers didn't know what to do what not to do because we didn't know anything about how things worked in college. So they are very helpful towards us and they teach us very well

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are several prospects, especially peer-to-peer counseling, where you get a mentor. We call it mentor mentee program. So, there will be groups of students, and each group will have a mentor who helps you whenever you face any issues whether in real life or in your academic journey. They’re always there for you. There are also remedial classes, and extracurricular activities are included in the curriculum. You even get the freedom to choose what you want to pursue creatively, like joining poetry clubs and similar groups. Right now, I’m at Banaras University, and the curriculum here is really good. We have sessions on public speaking, how to conduct interviews, and many other practical skills. These are highly commendable because they help you in professional situations like the one I’m in now. However, I would say that teachers could be a bit more active with electronic tools like using PPT presentations or audio-visual methods instead long lecture sessions. As for exams, I wouldn’t say they’re too difficult because there are many weekly assessments and sessionals, which actually help you evaluate yourself better.

Insights of SNU

There are a few private colleges present in Kolkata which provides biotechnology but in my opinion the labs of those colleges are not as well furnished as ours. There curriculum is little different than ours. I didn't apply to any other colleges apart from Snu for biotechnology I sat for an online exam .And I cleared the test. Once you get a call you visit the college campus meet the faculty and the faculty may take a type of interview session The addmission process is smooth. But sometimes the staff members of admission makes blunder.
