The college is very good,it has good campus and placements.
The college has very good staff ,all lectures are well experienced.
The college is also good at co curricular activities.

Dislikes

Its usual in Autonomous colleges that the students are vulnerable to few teachers.
Some lecturers are dominant over the students.
The time table is also not well structured.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choosed ECE because it has really good scope in both hardware and software industry , through ECE we can go to core as well as it jobs which increases the chances of getting a good placement . The only improvement is by increasing the branch related topics in the first year of engineering. The exam timing and frequency is all perfect.

Internships Opportunities

As first year students we are not sure about the internship programs,but through our seniors we have learnt that the college offers the internship to the students ,and also students can do internship separately for their personal experience.

Placement Experience

In the 4th year i.e 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements .There are many companies which visit our college ,like Dell,Tata,IBM etc and they make number of offers.The highest package is around 46LPA and average is around 8LPA.Maximum number of students are placed here.My plans after getting a degree is further studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

As i have entered through kcet , i have to pay the fees for the government seat which is around 96000 rupees. In additional,for the college development process we have to pay 24000 rupees . That makes the complete cost of education in a year .

Campus Life

There are many tech fests conducted in our college,like HALCYON which is usually held in march , SPANDANA which is usually held in November, TECHNISIUM which was held last month and so on.The library is vast and available for everyone,it is open 24/7.The college even participates in intercollege sports competitions.There are many clubs in the college which also impacts on individual's personality.

Admission

I was admitted through KCET which is state level examination in karnataka . The application process was very long , it took months to end the complete process. The cutoff for my branch was around 14000.

Faculty

The SIT Faculty is really good , it has many well experienced teachers/lecturers . Majority of the teachers adapt to the students and the students do experience a wonderful learning environment in the college . Teacher interaction is good in the campus.

Because sirikulam in terms of Reliance and comprehensive or not really good time period is very less so far academy here and we can't have time to study well and are many and I didn't expect this before college joining

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

A complete discipline with education

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

- Talking about me choosing this college over other colleges is because Siddaganga Institute of Technology comes in the top 10 colleges in the entire Karnataka and also has an NIRF ranking below 100. - I had applied various other colleges in Bangalore, but my ranking from KCET was 10,072 which was too high as per the cutoff put by those colleges so I couldn't get colleges in Bangalore and I landed in here. - I didn't get any rejections from other colleges as I had a good ranking in KCET exam along with an aggregate of 93.3% in my 12th. It was just the cutoff of the colleges that made me land in this college and I don't regret being here as I am happy that I am in one of the best colleges in Karnataka. - The admission procedure is simple. If you are coming through KCET or ComedK, then the seats will be alloted by the respective board and these students just come with the required or mentioned documents and just come and do admission in here. If the student is coming through Management seat then he has a different procedure. - There is no particular eligibilty criteria for admission in here, just one thing matter is the students rank which must be below the cutoff mentioned by the college. - The exam most preferred by the students is KCET, whose cutoff varies as per the branch they want admission for....Read More

I had got selected to this college based on my KCET EXAM rankings and i had given this college as my preority at 4th place and got it. i was so happy about getting this college and there was no other second thought and joined here. I chose this clg because of Its Placement and good campus area addition with Sports..
