- The size of campus is not that large as it looks. Playgrounds and games are located far from college campus
- Only some rooms have AC's, which cause problem for students during summer
- There is no proper garden or playing area inside of the campus
Course Curriculum Overview
The cirriculum is not that much outdated. It makes our basics about the core topics strong & crystal clear . Hence we became capable of learning any new programming lanuage or technology arising in the job market. I believe the evaluation of exams of subjects like programming languages shouls be more practical or project based rather than pen-paper test based. This will encourage students to learn the practical coding skills rathe rthan memorizing things. Exam used to frequently in a semester. We give exams after 5-6th week.
Internships Opportunities
The internships season is about to come. It has been in news that first ,there will be industrial trainings provided, where relevent skills will be taught, after which the internships will be provided.
Placement Experience
I am currently in 2nd year. College placements came after the end of third year. There are a few compaies like TCS or HCL that visit the college for placements. Sometimes companies like Amazon might come too.They offer placement of 10Lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fee is 150000 for btech cse students, remains almost same for the course with a little bit fluctuations of about 5000/- . This includes all the tution fees, service fees etc. There are scholarships for reserved category and economically weker sections.
Campus Life
There are many events & festivals that that held in the college including singing events, poetry competitions, art events etc.There are quite diverse range of books and journals available in the library that are accesible for all the students. Spaorts events are well organised encouraging sportsmanship and comradary. There are many technical and cultural societies in the college also.
Admission
To enroll in the courses you need to give the JEE[Junior Enterence Exam], where a min of 2-2.5lakh rank is required to get into the college. Apart from this you need 75% in 12th CBSE board examination.The info about the application form and important dates is updated on the ggsipu website.It is adviced to check it regularly for updates.
Faculty
Teachers are well qualified. All of them are PHD ;have a great command and in depth knowledge about the subject they are teaching. They teach and manage the class effectively We can ask doubts in the class as well as after the class.I interact with them quite often to take suggestions on various topics.
