Course Curriculum Overview
Had a keen interest in physics as a subject and wanted to opt for higher studies. The curriculum is based on the age old Indian education. It could do some reforms but the new NEP policy has introduced some subjects which are , in my opinion, not eligible to carry so much weight to the marks distribution. Else wise, the courses are interesting.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is about 26k per annum. Students having Ews or other quota can get a refund of about 60%. Scholarships are present but its tough to be availed for it. Internships are there but with no stipend.
Campus Life
The fests and other events such as awareness camps, sprts festivals etc are held on a good scale. The library could do some renovations but elsewise its pretty satisfactory. Clubs are active but it depends on the students. Notable clubs are chess club volleyball club, badminton club, dance and music clubs.
Admission
The admission process was smooth and only digital through Smarath portal. Application form and fees can be found through samarth portal, DU. The exam patterns have been the same since a few years. The end semester exams being on Mid May-June
Faculty
The ratio is about 1:12 in the PHYSICS department. The teachers' qualification as well as their mentorship are apt. Teacher-student Interaction is positive as well as very cooperative. The staff members are also very helpful.
