Remarks

NAAC Committee gave graded our college 'A'. It is the college where teachers and your true mentors, the canteen is great, the campus is huge and beautiful. What else one can ask for.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is as per the instructions of Delhi University. Divided into 6 semesters. In order to get into the next semester, one has to clear the semester exam held at the end of every semester. There are two papers in the 6th semester that are research-based. One is Dissertation and second is Research and communication studies.

Placement Experience

3

There is a placement cell in the college, one needs to enrol there. And all the companies\institutes looking for fresh and budding talent who would approach the cell, the student would get regular updates regarding that.

College Events

5

There are so many events that are celebrated in college. Republic day, annual fest, departmental fests. Diwali Mela and much more. Students can take rest from their daily routine and can enjoy themselves thoroughly in these events. In 2018, in the annual fest of the college, 'Lehren'. Bollywood actor, Pulkit Samrat came. In 2019, Pop singer, Shael Oswal came. Along with that both, the events ended with DJ night.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees have to be submitted annually in the month of July. 21000/- every year. It is less than the fees for a private school. Today's age student spend 2000 in one day at a party or cafe. But it comes out as one has to pay less than 2000 for a month. That is pretty cool as it doesn't bring our parents under paying hefty amount as our fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I didn't avail any. But there are scholarships available for studious students. Its notification is not provided by any authority. One has to keep a regular check on the college website and notice board.

Campus Life

4.5

Since it's a girl's college, campus life is pretty crazy here. One can do anything they want to. The campus is so huge that you will never get bored. The college has lots of greenery. There is a Cyber centre for students and teacher. Library, gym, SC\ST cell, student union room, medical room, media lab. every possible facility is available here.

Alumni/Alumna

There is an annual ritual OF alumni meet. And people who have passed and got great jobs and admission in reputed institutions and who are working or studying in abroad are invited specially to inspire and guide the current students.

Admission

The admission starts from 1st week of July with the coming of cut-off lists on the basis of merits. Cut-off lists go up to 5. And mostly seats gets full. And admission closes. After every cut-off list, students are given time for 3 days to take admission and submit the fees. I got admission in the 3rd cut off list on 20 July 2016 on the basis of merit.

Faculty

4

The faculty here is as good as any other professional colleagues. There are offices and windows where the student can go to during the prescribed dealing hours. Every issue is paid attention to. And also a complaint\suggestion box for the queries that student might have.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

I will rate the course at Delhi Univeristy 8 out of 10. As a student, I'm receiving offline study materials via the post, however, you have to pay around 500 rupees for the books and notes when filling the fees every year.

This course curriculum includes learning across 2 feilds like i have economics and maths and later we can continue 4th year to get hons degree . So its really gives time for a person to test himself or herself about which field to go on for as specialization. The difficulty level for this course is easy to moderate.
