I choose this course to have a safety net for my future and i think btech degree is better than a normal degree. You can get easily placed with a btech degree but with a normal degree its really hard unless u graduate from a top college. We have two semesters in a year and in a year there are two internal exams out of 40 marks and an endsem exam out of 100 marks at the end of the semester.

The fee structure of this college is very affordable as it is a government college. The better the marks you have in the keam exam, the lesser the fees are going to be. The KTU and the college offers scholarships for ladies and financially backward families. They have to go through a set of procdeures and a few of them will be selected for the scholarship and it has helped a lot of students.

I have a good college life here. The college offers lot of clubs of like film society, music, dance, fashion clubs etc. There are two main college libraries and then there is a department library for each of the engineering departments so it offers a lot of books to the students

Hostel facility is given based on the marks of the students and the distance of their house from the college. all the management students have sure admission of the college. the admission is only temporary though for the first year. second year onwards the admission process is through the first year marks scored by the students. The hostel is very affordable with a rent of 790 and provides a really good mess which gives non veg food every day of the week.

The admission to the college is through the KEAM exam. The cut off for the exam ranges from 17000 to 3000 rank where 17000th rank is for civil department and 3000th rank is for the computer science department. the college also offers 15% of the seats through management quota and it varies for each of the engineering departments.

The faculty to student ratio of this college is pretty good actually. There is never a short of faculty members in a department and all of them are easily approachable if you have any issues with the college. All the teachers have an Mtech degree and some of them even has Phds which is really good as they can give more information to the students.
