What Students Say

Likes

There is a green campus with different kinds trees and flowers.
Nice lab with sufficient instruments and sufficient space.
Nice classroom with projector and desks and good quality board.

Dislikes

Location is quite good because are not urban.
Capacity of lab is not sufficient except Computer lab.
There is no gym in the campus so we feel boring.

My aspects of the curriculum is my skill sets which influenced me to choose this course because my skillset is related to this course from starting. I thought by choosing this course I can develop my skill in different kind of technology. Curriculum prepares me in such a way so that I can be fit in the real world technology like AI, ML etc.

Placement Experience

Placements are quite good. Mostly we have to visit linked college's campus for the placement. But we have to work hard to be placed because in another campus there are more students that's why competition is high.

Fees and Financial Aid

I belong to middle family so we are not able to pay the tuition fee in time that's why I have decided to take loan from bank and this college eligible for this purpose because college is AICTE approved and under the reputed university.

Campus Life

My overall campus life is good. There are multiple activities happen in the campus apart from study like we celebrate many cultural festivals like Holi, Diwali and many more. We celebrate fest and fresher's party also. There multiple types of games organize every year. So overall campus life is good.

Admission

Admission process is very smooth and good. The admission cell of this college is good. Yes, you have to appear for the state level entrance exam to take the admission in this college if the rank of the cometative exam is under 10000 then you will be selected probabily.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty are good and they are wel qualified in their respective subjects But in the point of view of lab some faculty is quite good. There is no sufficient faculty for extra curriculam activity. Need more faculty for lab assistant.

Campus life: Hype vs Truth

Placement Experience:

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

A Deep Dive into JGEC

Placement Experience:

From 4th year the students become eligible for on campus placements. Few companies that visited are BEL which offered 12lpa , wtw which also offered 12lpa , TCS which offered 9 lpa highest, and many more . Highest package offered this year was 54lpa by Microsoft (off campus) . On campus highest was BEL which offered 12 lpa , the average package is around 8 lpa . My plan is to prepare myself for government exams and get a job by the end of my 4th year .

the cirricullum is quite relevent and comprehensive . BTECH program especially CSE includes specializations like data sciene , cybersecurity, IOT, etc . Exams are held twice in a semester . the college could include hand on learning through workshop , industry project and interships .
