- Dress code exists and that is something which shouldn't be there, what's the difference between school and college then.
Course Curriculum Overview
MBA was always on my wish list and BBA from Christ University honestly prepared me for MBA as 30-40% of what one has to study in MBA was taught at Christ in BBA. Our curriculum has real challenges and case studies that various start-ups in India saw while they were brand building. So course gives us a real picture than just teaching us the basic of finance.
Placement Experience
Industrial visits and Industrial projects start from third semester and placements from 5th semester. Bangalore multinational companies and start-ups like Zomato, Lenskart, Luscious, PokerBaazi and others have made Christ their heartthrob and every year they hire 70-80% BBA students with an average salary of 4 lakhs per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees was 2.25 lakhs a year and suddenly Covid sparked so fees didn't change otherwise it do gets hiked by some percentage every odd year. Scholarships are there as you name it and Christ University has that scholarships. There is a Christian quota and they get scholarship irrespective of their marks while other minorities communities also gets scholarships at Christ University.
Campus Life
From Esprit to Blossoms, Christ University hosts record number of fests that attack most footfalls. Colleges from all over India are invited to perform at Christ University. There are nearly 100 societies which are backed by alumnis and funded by sponsors and runned and operated fully by the students. For sports, university has produced many state andp national level players by providing them world class infrastructure in sports like football, table tennis, volleyball and others.
Admission
Entrance is must and one has to work hard to bloster rank in that. After that some students are called for PI rounds and post that the final admissions are confirmed. I am glad that Christ have this criteria as it ensures that only sharpest brains can enter Christ University.
Faculty
One word for faculties and that is domain expert. All the faculties at Christ have this basic quality in them that they are fully aware of the subject and prepare students in a way that when they go for higher studies they find it much easier. All the faculties are from B-Schools and hold a PGDM or MBA degree along with a wealth of teaching experience.
Interview Experience
In interview we were asked whati is our domain and they just checked whether or not are we expert of that domain. Like i said my hobby is playing and watching tennis and they asked me major questions on tennis. I took help of my seniors who told me just to be yourself and hold your demeanor as they just check whether or not are we expert of the field we claim that we know. Without cracking PI there's no way one can join Christ University as it is a mandatory round to be cleared.
