Course Curriculum Overview

Most of the courses are pasted from previous year and very few courses are added in the name of the electives. Because it is core ( eee) they start with basics . Whole two years is just of basics and labs.

Internships Opportunities

In the 5th semester campnies come for internship. It is a compulsory carrying one credit. They are held after summer holiday you can apply for any companies. Stipend is as per your work most likely 40k

Placement Experience

From 3 rd year you will get internships and from forth year you need to prepare for college placement Company like Mahindra, Tata motor, nvidia , and more And you are applicable for attending all code jobs.

Fees and Financial Aid

College fee is 70k and If you have any reservations or your income is less than 5 lakh, you need to pay 1/3 rd of the total tuition fee. If it is less than 1 lakh, you need to pay 0 tuition fees. And the hostel fee has no redemption. You can also apply for other scholarships

Campus Life

You wi ll have more than enough clubs activities etc. And you can party in every event irrespective of your club no restrictions. Library is always available you can borrow book from it. You can play sports 24/7 and you can borrow sports equipment from sports Complex and return after used.

Hostel Facilities

For first year you need stay double or triple sharing and the hostels are ok not so good. Mess food is healthy and tastes worst. You can eat as much as you want . You can choose mess as your wish ( veg, non veg) Every thing I'd done through iris. No pg are near college better stay in college.

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

Admission

For oc 99 percentile For obc ~98percentile You need to pay 75000 while joining to josaa after some moths you will get your fess redemption according to your income and caste. Exams are not so difficult and everyone will read day before exam.

Student teacher ratio is about 10:1 . Most of the teachers we'll cerified but can't explain properly. Teacher student interactions is same as any other government college.Most of them work for money than passion

Placement Experience:

campus placements in the collage usually start during the final year, and students generally become eligible from the 7th semester depending on their academic performance and eligibility criteria set by companies . The placement cell in the collage helps students by organizing placements drives, aptitude training, and career guidance sessions. varies companies visit the campus every year mainly from IT, Service, and some core engineering sectors. Companies such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and other mid-level organizations have visited for recruitment in previous years . the average package offered to students is usually around 4LPA to 10LPA depending on the company and job role, while the highest package may very each year based on the recruiting companies . A reasonable percentage of students secure placements through campus recuitment, while some studies or look for opportunities outside campus placements. after completing the degree, my plan is to build strong techical skills and pursue opportunities in the core engineering.

My life in RNSIT

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 4th year as placement training occurs in 3rd year(6th semester). There are multiple companies like Infosys, Oracle, ABC, HP, Adobe and many other companies that visit our college for placements. The highest package was 56 LPA and the placement percentage is about 80 to 95% so there is a strong chance of placement in RNSIT.

A good college for your development

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are pretty good with the average package being around 10 lakhs. Our college provides comprehensive training to prepare us for placments by conducting training over 2 months for both technical rounds as well as non-technical aptitude rounds. Mock interviews are conducted in order to prepare us for the real interviews.

instead of providing knowledge from books. College should give some time for students to work for the companys through online so they can get exact idea about the roles of engineers in their careers, and also they'll become professional I'm short time after completing their BE.

This college is one of the top engineering college in india ,even top than many IITs etc. ,this college is at very decent nirf anking,naturally location is also very beautiful, the branch i wantes to take has nice average placement in this college, this college have its private beach. Other collleges are also good i filled my preference choices according to my rank i got this college . this college was at my second choice place and i got this in my last councelling round . I am so grateful to destiny and my hardwork ,support of parents and teachers. On my first preference order NIT Trichy was there as my branch has good past academics and placements. I got NITRourkela tilll 5th round of josaa . And in final round I got NITK and I locked it as i only wanted to take it. I got rejected by NITT becouse of may be my rank . as others were deserving that more than me. Admission in college is the last step to get into the college.these engineering colleges are taking admissions through the exam named JEE Mains and Advanced.The eligibility for this exam is the student who is studying in class 12th or till 2 yrs dropper can give exam with subjects taken PCM or PCMB in +1 /+2.they have to clear the CBT based exam and than cutoffs comes and colleges are taking students by councelling process. The JEE Mains exam is for 3 hours and Advanced is for 6 hours with parts of two 3-3 hours in paper-1 and 2 .Cutoffs for general in mains for year 2025 was 93 percentile ....Read More

A mini heaven on earth called NITK

After GATE exam, I applied to almost all top NITs like NIT Trichy, NIT Surathkal, NIT Warangal, NIT Calicut etc during CCMT counselling . I had also applied in IIT Dhanbad in COAP counselling. I got IIT Dhanbad in 8th round. I spoke to my coaching Sir, he had advised me to go for top 3 NITs rather than IIT Dhanbad. Since these three NITs are well established and offer better placement opportunities as compared to IIT Dhanbad which is relatively a new IIT. One needs to qualify GATE exam to get a shot at taking admission in IITs/NITs. Once you qualify the GATE exam you can then look at specific colleges cutoff for admission. I got NIT Surathkal in special round 1 which was held after 3 regular rounds. I preferred NIT Surathkal as compared to other NITs since its considered in top 3 NITs and also it's near my home as compared to NIT Trichy....Read More
