Dislikes
- Infrastructure is very limited, expansion is much required given that there has been an abrupt increase in admissions and more technological advancements are also due.
- Medical facilities must be provided in every college campus, not having a separate medical wing is a bit disappointing.
- There must be a provision of Global Internships, International collaborations and Student exchange programs must be promoted more n more.
Fees and Financial Aid
There has been no abrupt increase in the Fee structure of the Institute since the college is affliated under the APJ Abdul Kalam Technical Education, the technical Education board of Uttar Pradesh. The college is also a branch of JSS Mahavidyapeetha, based in Mysore, dedicated towards education and healthcare at all levels. My B.Tech degree has the fee structure of total 6 Lakhs, divided in the course of 5 years. The hotel charges are additional 1 Lakh per year. There are numerous scholarshios applicable directly from the UP Govt. for Economically weak and other reserved classes. There is absolute next to no provision of college employments or stipends.
Campus Life
Zelaicon is the annual techno-cultural fest held typically in the months of April and May. Library resources include Refernce books, journals and Digital resourcse and subscriptions to digital libraries like IEEE. Classroom facilities include Smart Classroom, WiFi Access and Laboratories. There are also provisions and complex spaces for both indoor and outdoor sports.
Admission
The eligibility criteria for undergraduate course typically include - successful completion of 10+2 in PCM subjects. - A minimum percentage of 60% is required, depending upon specific requirements, - or a valid score in JEE Mains entrance examinations. The reservation benefits can significantly lower the ranks required for admission by a large margin, such is the benefit.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio differs from department to department with CSE having the highest ratio, and other departments come successively. The mean would range at about 60 students per teacher. The academic qualifications are often complemented by extensive research and industry experience. Faculty memebrs frequently publish research papers in reputed journals and participate in national and international conferences, ensuring they stay updated with the latest developments in their respective fields. They also promote writing papers among students. I myself have written a few and had them published with the help of the faculty.
