The Professors in Mnnit are highly knowledgeable and cooperative except some
Placement is very good especially for the computer science and mechanical students.No of core companies comes is also good.

Dislikes

Some acaedamic can be slow and complex like scholarship and semester registration.
Internship ratio is low and only good and very high paying companies comes for recruiting the students

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculam is good but there is lot of theory subjects especially in cse and it department. But New curriculam is improved with Artificial intelligence and other subjects in the first year itself.I dont know the core subjects Case but in cse it i can say there is need of lot of improvements like skipping the theory subjects of first 2 semesters.

Placement Experience

Placement is good . This is one of the top nits who offer such placements. This year placement hits due to recession otherwise placement is dynamic in mnnit and is above than most of iits except top 5. Percentage is 60 to 70 this time.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee is different for different category .I belongs to ews category so my total fees per semester is 19000 and hostel fees is 12000. Mess fees is different for different hostels . Scholarship is Nsp up and other state government but nsp is not for general and ews candidates.In last year i got the scholarship. In third year no one got the scholarship due to college irresponsibility.

Campus Life

The infrastructure is good but as it is an old college so in most of the classes there is no ac that creates an issue in summer as city is hot and humid climate. The library is vast you can almost all the books of your needs. Clubs are large in number including dance, music and sports.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are good but there is no ac or cooler facility .Till second you will get sharing rooms from third year onwards you will get single room .In last year you will get the newly builted hostels. Pg or room is not a good option to rent in Allahabad because you will not get even 50 percent of the facilities that you can get in hostels.

Hostel Fee: INR 54000 per year

Admission

You can get admission in Mnnit Allahabad by jee mains.But overall if you belongs to general then you have to be 99 percentile category in Jee Main Entrance. Other Way to get admission is by DASA for the students of outside india.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty to student ratio is good and it is almost 1:20 in Mnnit. There are ranked faculties HOD,then professors then Assistant and for the help phd students also comes for doubt session. Some Faculties are very best like Mayank Pandey who used to teach computer networks and Animesh Ojha who teaches physics. I used to interact with every professors except some like Niraj Tyagi .Suggestion-You should be in touch with all for better experience.

Placement Experience:

Form the beginning of very first year students are eligible for the campus placements. TCS, cognizant, wipro, are the some companies visited here. Highest package is 44 lpa in amazon which is off campus for software role. Placements % is quite medium if you are serious about skill then you will be get a path here to go ahead. Arround 60 to 70 is the placement % My plans after getting degree is to get a job.

GLA University Mathura is Great!

Placement Experience:

Average package at GLA University may range between 5-7 lakhs but one student has managed to get placements of 55 lakhs and that is still the record placement from GLA University campus Mathura. Around 70-75% students are placed every year but I will be preparing for GATE as my ambition are to be atleast post graduate if not a PHD.

Good for learning and Skill development

Placement Experience:

Mostly te 6th sem (3rd year) got eligible for campus placement. Amazon, Accenture, AVL India, Atlan and many others (about 900+) visited and made 4000+ offers. The ave. package is about 5.25 LPA and highest crossed 39 LPA. Above 60%+ got their placement and the persentage of students receiving multiple offer is about 32%. After degrre want to build a strong carrer and to contribute in the grouth of Bharat.

Honest Opinion on IIIT ALLAHABAD

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester, many students get into the internship and many gets further preplacement through it. The companies visted are google, atlassian, flipkart, qualcomm, samsung, phone pe etc. Highest package is 1.21CR per annum. Average package is 30LPA 90% students got placed. Private job is the plan after getting the degree. 90% students gets placed.

Placements are quiet low at bbditm. The average package of 4lakh approx and the highest upto 15 lpa . The highest package is from the computer science branch. But number Of placements are low. But there is also number of placements in other branches.

MNNIT- A path to Bright Future

One of the important reasons for choosing this college is because of its unique and brilliant placement records. and also it is one of the best NIT in North. Basically I want a college that is not much distant from my state Haryana and should be good also and this alligns perfectly with my scenarios. Talking about the admission process, first you have to clear JEE Mains with a good rank like for CSE your rank be between 1K to 9K . If you want to take admission in this college irrespective of any branch you rank should be under 30K. But this data is not fixed , it changes every year depending on the difficulty level of JEE Mains. and then apply for the JOSSA councelling and there you can keep this college in your choice an dif your rank is good enough, you will get it. Know about MNNIT Allahabad/ NIT Allahabad

With my jee mains rank which was 5000 and along with ews I had two options to choose from... One was NIT Trichy with ece branch and one was NIT Allahabad or MNNIT Allahabad with cse branch. But I have hard that ECE branch is tough in terms of academic as compared to CSE branch.. and also NIT Allahabad was very much mear to my home state that is Bihar. So I considered NIT Allahabad over NIT Trichy. Package was also I reason that I considered while choosing between these two.
