- From great infrastructure to qualified professors our university has it all.
- Unfortunately I am not a hosteller but otherwise the kind of night life that they enjoy at GLA University is super awesome.
- GLAET is the best way to get here as students who qualify through that are also given some scholarships as well.
Dislikes
- Ranking wise our university is still below 100.
- Placements not of that stature that international tech companies come here.
Course Curriculum Overview
AI, Machine Learning and coding all three are there in our course. Hence, I took this challenge as I knew it will be tough but this where jobs will be and right skills will be required. Our course doesn't just makes us coders but also makes us skillful with all the skills we need.
Internships Opportunities
Flipkart and likewise many companies that needed AI integration recently hired around 20 intenrs from our university. All were paid nearly 25k as stipend and not just Flipkart but many other corporates too don't shy away from giving us Internships and that too at good stipend.
Placement Experience
Average package at GLA University may range between 5-7 lakhs but one student has managed to get placements of 55 lakhs and that is still the record placement from GLA University campus Mathura. Around 70-75% students are placed every year but I will be preparing for GATE as my ambition are to be atleast post graduate if not a PHD.
Fees and Financial Aid
GLA University Mathura is arguably the best and the largest university in Mathura. Yet, of one wants they can compare it with the likes of others and can see that the fees charges by GLA University is much lesser. Like just 2 lakhs or so for a year for CSE is almost unreal. However, this is what GLA University commands for the course.
Campus Life
Since most students of the university stays inside the campus as most are outsiders so there's a minimum mart for shopping. The central library of the campus is huge as any book or journal, one will find all resource attached to it in our library. I don't even go to central library as our departmental library is big enough.
Admission
GLAET is one and then JEE scores is next as one of the entrance qualification is must to secure admission in GLA University. However GLAET is easy and even if you score less at max you won't be given your choice of branch but you may still find a way for admission here.
Faculty
All the professors who taught here have cleared GATE exams and are rich in experience too. Most of them have been in researches and some are still there. So, richness in their teaching, in their demeanor, in their experience then what else as a student I can expect. Still on gunpoint if I have to name one professor whom I feel can termed the best then it would be Professor Shikhar Sharma.
Night Life
Mathura is Lord Krishnas land so instead of going out to cafes, me and my friends hangout at Kusum Sarovar, Vishram Ghat, Govardhan Hill, Krishna Janmbhumi and Prem Mandir and Banake Bihari Temple in Vrindavan which are just an hour away from our university.
