What Students Say

Likes

Most of the holy and sacred places are close to our campus and that's to me biggest novelty that our university has.
Also our university has the best security as nobody can enter without showing their i card.
Lastly our faculties who are hold accountable for students performance.

Dislikes

Hostel is good but mess is too worse as I don't know what kind of food do they serve.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course has some of the most aristocrat case studies like be it Rockefeller or Saira Bano Case. In the three years we have been taught all and it has transpired for one of the finest curriculum that possibly we could have.

Class Size: 73Course Fees: INR 134000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements for law school are very very low indeed and out of total 180 students not more than 20-30 even get placed. Seminars and top brass are invited to guide students how can they take their career forward but not many direct placements happen.

Fees and Financial Aid

GLA University which is a large university of Mathura charges 1.4 lakhs for academic fees and besides that since I live in university hostel I pay another 85000 or so as the fees for the hostels. In a way infeel it's quite reasonable though.

Campus Life

Probably largest university in Mathura with 125 acres of land and almost 20+ courses. Every department is looked after by HOD who gave their office in the main admisntrative block. From HR Clubs to legal societies we have it all at our campus.

Hostel Facilities

There are two types like from 1st and 2nd year, I stayed in a three seater room but now I am in a single seater room. Rooms are spacious and almost every necessity like a good bed and a comfortable table and chair and a mid size cupboard is there.

Hostel Fee: INR 88000 per year

Admission

I am close to Mathura and hence I didn't applied anywhere else. I just gave university entrance test ans clearing it I took the admission here. Lucky that those who clear through GLAET also get 25000 flat scholarship as well.

Faculty

For law all LLM faculties are there and not just a master's degree but all have in their career have also done law practice and know how Indian legal system works. So, Mahaveer Sir who himself have court room experience and also have a lot of teaching experience simultaneously is my favourite.

Night Life

Many holy places like the Kans Qila, Vishram Ghar and Holi Gate are very near to our campus. The one and only best cafe which is close to our campus is the Hangout Cafe and its the ultimate as from cold coffees to pizzas we get it all over there.

GLA University is great!

Placement Experience:

Placements for Law are not comparable to the tech courses so far at GLA. Every year combining BBA LLB and BA LLB around 300 and I don't think even 100 are placed. So, GLA University will have to find a way to get atleast half the students find placements here and because I know my chances of getting placements are slim, I will be opting for doing LLM after I am done with LLB in 2027.

Placement Experience:

Course are 5 year and campus provide placements for student generally start 9 to 10th semester (4th to 5th year ) . Company visits are 4A IP solution , Limited (TSC,etc.) and Accenture ,law firm . Package as per company is TSC highest package - INR 7-12LPA(group) , Infosys is highest package -INR 6-10 LPA and average company is 4A IP solution package - 5-6 LPA and Cognizat package -INR 6LPA . 75-80% of student getting placements role like a advocate. My plan after gettng the degree I will become a advocate and help those wrong because my nature very hummable, I thought some advocate for money wrong worked , it's wrong

College with good food and sports facilities.

Placement Experience:

The college provide students with PDF lectures which focuses on personality development which includes confidence building, speaking and listening skills, etc. They also give tips for a better resume and how to give interview and prepare us for interviews by organising mock interviews. 5th year students are the focused students for the campus placement. Some students choose to be an advocate and others may prepare for higher studies and or prepare for judiciary and other civil services examinations. I personal preference to go for the one field which can open my ways for other field stoo.

They don't perform many curriculums as such and the difficulty level of exam is very moderate you can literally cover it if you are attending your classes regularly and my suggestion for improvement would be they should perform some extra curriculum and provide us some ground knowledge

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college law branch are best CCS University. Because we have so many students so the placements are also low but atleast law college providing placements are no less. From Luthra to Khaitan a lot of such law firms come to our college and even corporate houses too.

Placements currently as I am in my final year and couldn't find placements through the firm's which came here for placements. Therefore I had to find it on my own just like half of our batch has to as less than half were placed. AN AVERAGE NEXT-DOOR INDIAN COLLEGE

I came to GLA University as my last resort. When I couldn't get into Delhi University I had no choice left. But I ended up taking admission here because when I looked at the faculty members and syllabus here I thought this isn't bad.
