Know about MNNIT Allahabad/ NIT Allahabad

Apart from better package in cse i also felt interested in it so i chose cse over lower branches in iits. The curriculum is well designed enough for real world applications. During 1st year there's not any solid reason to teach chem and physics to cse students it's just wasting the time of students as well as professors... This should be looked into.. Looking at the difficulty level of paper' gap of atleast a day in very much required.

There are many companies that visit our college include big tech giants like google and Microsoft. The internship session start from the very starting of third year and around 150 students gets on campus internship. The main eligibility criteria for internship is above 7.5 cpi and the student should have at least two projects ro write in their resume.

For those whose income is more than 5 lakhs... Hostel Fee:- 12000 Institute and other fee:- 19000 Caution Money:- 5000 Tution fee:- 62500 Total:- 98500 For those whose income is less than 5 lakhs but more than 1 lakh Tution fee is 20833 So total fee becomes 56833 For those whose income is less than 1 lakhs Tution fee gets 0 So total fee becomes 36000 Apart from these all students who are residing in hostel have to pay 25000 for mess fee.

Campus Life is quite interesting if you have some friends to enjoy with. Here there are two main fests every year one is Culrav that is cultural fest and other is Avishkar that is a tech fest. You have many clubs also cultural as well as technical which u can join in 1st year also.. The library here is quite small if we look at the strength of students but they have a large collection of books. Classrooms are well equipped with air conditioners and there are enough desks to sit comfortably . There are sport event also that occur each year in which many students participate and win prizes and medals as well.

For 1st year hostel is decent enough to survive and all essential facilities are provided to students. Mess food quality is also nice and menu is decided by the students themself. For 2nd and 3rd year, hostels really need to get renewed i mean there is very much need of making new hostels for them and the mess food quality is decent. Menu keeps changing according to students. For final year the hostel is best with best facilities and they have best mess also.

With my jee mains rank which was 5000 and along with ews I had two options to choose from... One was NIT Trichy with ece branch and one was NIT Allahabad or MNNIT Allahabad with cse branch. But I have hard that ECE branch is tough in terms of academic as compared to CSE branch.. and also NIT Allahabad was very much mear to my home state that is Bihar. So I considered NIT Allahabad over NIT Trichy. Package was also I reason that I considered while choosing between these two. Admission process is not that much tough it's just one day process.. first you have to upload your documents online and the you have to visit the college on the provided date for physcial verification along with the asked documents.

Faculty to student ratio is good overall. Some faculties that I really liked are Dr Ranvijay Sir, Anuja Dixit ma'am they are of cse department. I didn't like Sughato roy who is again cse department professor but he leaked question paper to girls. As every college this also has mid sem and end sem in each semester with practicals during end sem.. the papers are a bit tougher sude.. some students fail to clear but the course is relevant enough for cse.

There is only one gym for the whole college which is divided into two sections one for men and other for women but these are really not enough. There is a need of larger gyms. There are enough number of cafes in college anong them some remain open all night also. For first year boys hostel as well as campus timing is 10pm and for girls it is 8 pm After first year campus as well as hostel timing for girls is 10pm and there isn't any time for boys. Campus is located in cantt area so there is enough safety outside the college also.
